Really nice restaurant! Excellent service and friendly staff. We went for the free flow lunch (offer at the time). The fried chicken was excellent! The Matcha lava cake was fantastic too!

A company group lunch started out with high spirits yesterday, looking forward to a set menu with beer, wine and fun. Environment was nice and the food was ok but service was really bad and the waiter we had ignored our request multiple times. It took 30min for my drink (a beer) to arrive even after reminding the same person 3 times. And I had dropped my chopsticks, she said she would get a pair for me, 10min later after the food arrived she still didn’t came back, so I decided to go get myself a pair to discover the same women chatting with her colleagues. Definitely not what I expected from this group and this restrturant. First time and last time here! I won’t recommend this place to anyone…

We like it in Honjo, have been there multiple times and today we tried the brunch. I would recommend going a la carte for dinner better. Still good experience but not the best dishes. Quite a traditional or unoriginal one I would say. Still the place is great and super friendly and kind staff.

Food mostly very good with the highlight being the Matcha Lava Cake
On the other hand the Barramundi was very below average and surprisingly bland considering the quality of the rest of the meal
We did the tasting menu and would definitely go back. Superb service, excelllent food and good vibes.
Got the $498 brunch. They change their menu frequently, and this one included sharing starters, unlimited sushi, sashimi and oysters, a chosen main course and dessert. I didn’t think the quality of food was so amazing to be worth $498, but the quantity of food was good and the unlimited sushi can be worth it for big eaters.
Booked this place for a special occasion and they did not disappoint. Food was exceptional, good quality and tasty! Get a sushi platter, this was very nice!
Servers were all incredibly attentive, polite and even gave us a complimentary dish for no reason! Great atmosphere and decor, would highly recommend a visit and will visit again.

係菇菇菇天婦羅~ 炸皮超脆，咬落卡卡聲，薄身唔油膩，菇嘅水份然被鎖住。天婦羅沾醬同平時嘅有啲唔同，帶微酸。另附有抹茶粉、岩鹽、七味粉等供灑上。不過抹茶粉以鹹味為主，就唔算太特別。

牛肉叫左三成熟，火喉岩岩好~ 肉質軟腍juicy帶焦香，肥膏位油脂感超重！超綠嘅阿根廷青醬散發住陣陣草青味，不過食落又幾fresh，可以一消牛嘅油膩。

炒飯炒得好乾身，帶微辣幾惹味，不過真係重口味左啲。

紅酒質地順滑，單寧適中，入口有濃濃黑莓、黑櫻桃同黑胡椒嘅味道。濃味油膩嘅牛肉配上紅酒最好不過，油膩感可隨之減低。

為呢餐畫上完美嘅句號！撻皮極脆，切開竟然有流心！流心富芝士咸香，配埋旁邊嘅糖漬菠蘿，甜甜鹹鹹唔錯呢~
環境非常舒適，加上服務員態度非常好，已令我產生好感。
食材一絲不苟，本以為份量不會多，怎知除了份量夠之外，其煮功也是值得一讚的。
更值得一提的是，這裏環境除適合情侶和知已相聚外，也適合家庭聚會的。
p.s. Laura (店長）還送我們每人一杯梅酒以助我們品嘗餐後甜品。
Pretty restaurant, interesting food and attentive staff. Tasty cocktails. Can get a bit busy. Desserts were a bit disappointing.
The brunch here is so good that I just keep returning. Every plate is delicious, the drink options are all delicious, and they do not skimp on anything. Being able to order as much of any kind of sushi and sashimi that you want is absolutely incredible. My favourite restaurant in Hong Kong!
Amazing food, great service. We tried so many things on the menu and was pleased with most of it.
Sushi platter was very fresh. Vegetable tempura was surprisingly good.
The chicken was our least favorite, wish it was boneless… it was good but just ok compared to the rest of the dishes.
Dessert was good too. Lava matcha is a must try if you like that flavor.

Total spend for two was around HKD1200.
Entrees include wings, hamachi and wagyu gyoza.
Main include short ribs.
Sides include fried rice and miso eggplant.
Dessert was matcha lava cake.
The service was excellent as they were very attentive. The food was very good as it was quite flavoursome.
Short ribs was slightly more bland than anticipated.
The wings surprisingly had no bones so made eating it much cleaner and easier.
Went to Honjo for the first time today at lunch & had no idea that we were in for such a treat!
We were led to the table by Donal who was very gracious and welcoming. Seating was spacious. Table maintenance was immaculate. Exceptional service & hospitality from Prat, the lovely lady who took care of us. She painstakingly took the time to explain the venue and the dining options to us. She also suggested her favourite menu items. She surprised us with Avocado Wasabi Balls presented on what looked like a birds nest. Brilliant!
The food was very good especially the Teriyaki Salmon & Tempura Vegetables & Shrimp. We capped the meal with their made to order desserts including Cheesecake & Matcha Lava Cake, both of which were simply out of this world!
You can tell that the team here is very well trained and everyone has a huge sense of urgency, especially Prat. She exemplifies “Grace under pressure”.
Please don’t change anything. We will be back…..

Very high quality fusion Japanese food. Service is good. Unfortunately, limited 2 hr dinning
Put aside the sashimi, I will call it Western food with a touch of Japanese. It’s either too sweet or over-sauced. The sushi rice was sticky and moist without the right texture and taste. The tempura batter was thick and chewy. Must say a nice deco for hang out and drinks. Wine by glass choices v limited and unimpressive in terms of price-value. Good for party and people watching, not for food; no offense.
Absolute great, food and service really amazing. And they prepared the desert with a special note to my wife’s birthday, really nice. As I already said before, if it would be less expensive, we would definitely come more often 🙂
Went to Honjo for my 3rd birthday celebration this year. Despite having the same friends eat with me, the experience was overwhelmingly positive. The tall Irish host busted out some good jokes and spicy tuna was bomb. The corn and the steak was a real treat. Order some of that veggie tempura. Do not forget the sake flight
Great venue for big group which allow you to sit for a few hours but mediocre food. Had a Saturday brunch with a large group. The starter and sushi/ sashimi was mediocre. Should have better quality for the price. The mains were alright but not that special. Dessert was a highlight. Love the sesame crème brûlée! Haven’t had sesame crème brûlée anywhere else! Service was ok but lacking the warmth.

The Brunch at Honjo is very good. The setting and decor of the restaurant is awesome, it has a kind of otherworldly vibe and the space is intimate but doesn’t feel cramped. The food is also lush, great variety and the ‘mains’ are straight up delicious, as are many of the dishes frankly. The one let down for us was the service, the staff weren’t bad per se, they responded to all our requests but seemed either reluctant or just a bit grumpy with us at times. It didn’t really detract from a great meal but was noteworthy enough to drop a star!

釜飯有好多種，我地食哩個係用咗唔同嘅菇類製成，香氣十足，經理話哩個都係佢其中一個最喜歡嘅食物😊 經歷仲話製作過程係先用煮熟啲飯，最後用高溫再燒2分鐘令到啲飯產生飯焦，令到食落口感更為豐富

抹茶心太軟配蕎麥餅乾同雲尼拿雪糕💓 抹茶味香濃但唔苦，食落口好順滑，而且微熱，配上冰凍雪糕一熱一凍，非常過癮

Delightful dining environment and a rich variety of well prepared and tasty food across all courses. Will return!
We ordered the tasting menu at around or less than 1k pp. The portions were huge, there was appetizer, ceviche, sushi, fish, beef everything under the sun and just so much food and we were stuffed in the middle of the meal. The quality was above average but could not be compared to any sushi restaurant. It meets the expectation of a very comfortable fusion restaurant with above average food and above average bargain prices. Can’t expect nothing more!
Awesome as always. We had spinach into peanuts sauce as starter and grilled salmon as main dish and matcha lava as dessert. They all were delicious. We also had corn tempura which was just as good. Definitely recommend.

Been here for weekend brunch a few times but finally got a chance to try out their dinner tasting menu. You get a lot of dishes with generous portions, we were pretty much full even before the main came😂 loved the Kamameshi, wagyu tenderloin and truffle soy made it rich savory. Our dessert was a matcha lava- intense matcha flavor without being too sweet 🤤
A restaurant with high quality of food, environment and service.
Highly recommend for family gathering and celebration.
