Delicious food, great set lunch menus
Staff were friendly but not very attentive – hard to get their attention and service was a bit slow. Food was nice and my meat-eating friends loved it. Very poor selection for vegetarians though.

Everything at Chachawan was amazing, but the Kanom Dtom dessert was out of this world! The gooey, chewy texture of the dumplings, the warm pudding… it’s amazing! I will never forget it.
Chachawan is one of my absolute favourite restaurants in Hong Kong. Every dish I’ve had there is bursting with flavour and freshness. Nice selection of Thai themed cocktails to accompany and great friendly service to top it off. I keep going back
I have visited Chachawan for dinner for a few times and decided to give it a try for its lunch menu.
I ordered Gai Yang (grilled chicken thigh) with jasmine rice and ice lemon tea. The chicken is quite tasty, especially if dipped in the sauce provided. I also like to mix the sauce together with rice. Very comforting.
The ice lemon tea included in the lunch set is quite watery and has very little flavor. I asked for a replacement with less ice, and it still tastes flavorless. Oh well. I guess ice tea is not their strong suit but it should be a very simple beverage to make.
I order mango sticky rice as dessert. It’s not a big portion and the mango is not very ripe. The overall flavor is still ok.
Very nice food! Love the whole menu in how it is put together, and we got free mango salt 🙂

Great Thai restaurant. Different fare from the regular Thai food you’ve had. Try the pomelo salad, crab fried rice, chicken thigh and mango sticky rice. And drink the calamansi drink.

Mango with Sticky Rice Coconut Ice Cream Pomelo Salad Phad Thai
Delicious! Carbs and crab portions were a bit small and the soup was okay – but the fish, pork and chicken were fantastic. The pork neck was delicious and the portion was pretty big. All in all a great dinner!
Prices were set a lil higher compared other Thai cuisines in Kowloon City, but understandable. Place was cozy but could get a bit stuffy upstairs.
Would love to try their desserts next time.

Very limited vegetarian options. Also not a huge fan of coconut ice cream with corns and salty peanuts. What I like most is the green papaya they give out for free. Should consider putting that on the menu

Delicious Thai Cuisine in a well appointed setting. Friendly staff, extensive menu and all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended, will be back again!
由中環威靈頓街的辦公室走到這間餐廳，大概需要10-15分鐘，餐廳的位置並不算難找，而且有特式的招牌也蠻容易辨認的！分享一下這間泰國餐廳的食物😋
Lunch set 除了主菜之外還包括一杯飲料，我點了凍的泰式奶茶，味道不錯，但我喜歡茶味濃一點的
Khao Pad 泰式蟹肉炒飯
米飯炒得粒粒分明，蟹肉也蠻大顆的，不用沾旁邊的魚露已經很夠味了
Gai Yang 泰式香烤雞扒配特製酸辣醬汁(可配泰國茉莉香米或糯米飯)
雞扒經炭烤後依然很軟嫩，沾上酸辣醬汁後配著糯米飯一起吃十分美味！為了這件雞扒值得再來一次喔💕
Khao Niew Mamuang 泰式芒果糯米飯
是一般芒果糯米飯的味道，如果份量多一點會更好
Kanom Dtom 泰式椰子湯丸
侍應有提醒一碗只有兩顆湯丸，但作為兩人嚐嚐鮮還是可以的~
本來以為是用甜椰奶作湯底的湯圓而已，沒想到是甜的椰子蓉湯圓和鹹椰奶底的組合😋湯圓皮薄煙韌，內餡包著甜絲絲的椰子蓉，而椰汁湯底帶點鹹香，鹹甜鹹甜的蠻有特別的！

Amazing thai food in Sheung Wan district. Full house in Sunday. Sitting at bar counter was so good, can watch the chef preparing dishes. Tradition thai food with reasonable price and good vibes. Definitely will back again.

Great place with good vibes for lunch. And they don’t have service charge. The shrimp and tofu phad thai is a must-try. And the rice noodles with spicy pork and tomato broth and dried red cotton flower is delectable.

We had the pleasure being invited at the opening of this one of its kind northern Thai restaurant back in 2013, and have been back dozens of times ever since.
About time to finally rate this iconic eatery. All diners deserve a five star rating; no exception!
Tonight again, we ordered their all time high: the sat crusted sea bass. Fabulous as always. As well as their larb moo and super tasty crab fried rice.

One of my favourite restaurants in Sheung Wan. I work near Cha Cha Wan and always get my lunch from there, and each time it’s very good. I kid you not, I truly believe they have the best pad thai in Hong Kong; best protein-to-carb ratio I’ve seen in this city (and I eat A LOT of pad thai). Other highlight dishes are their crab fried rice or pork skewers.
And the service is always 💯. Fantastic servers, bar staff and managers. Everyone’s always got a smile and the service is what makes the atmosphere so pleasurable to dine in.

Chachawan serves northeastern Thai food which is rather rare in hk. It is very cosy and of a chill vibe. The staff are very enthusiastic and happy to introduce the dishes to u. There is also complimentary mango after we finish all dishes. All dishes we ordered are phenomenal. Gai Yang, which is grilled chicken thigh with jhim jeaw sauce, is marinated with pepper, garlic and parsley. This makes it juicy, tender and flavourful, and the dipping sauce definitely upgrades the whole thing. Larp Moo is also fantastic, fully flavoured with different herbs. Wrapping the minced pork with an iceberg lettuce lessens the intense spices and is refreshing. Roti Gluay is crispy banana pancake. The pancake is crispy but not as fragrant as i think. To my surprise, the condense milk pairing with the banana won’t make it too sweet! I would like to revisit for other dishes but remember to reserve a table!

A lot of dish options for sharing, if you don’t know it – may be confusing. Pad Thai ok, not juicy enough for my taste. Nice interior though.
fantastic, authentic food & incredible service! staff are very friendly and lovely. a tad overpriced albeit portions are very reasonable. love the choice of desserts, we ended up getting the mango sticky rice and it was divine. happy hour cocktails are very tasty too! would highly recommend.

Fantastic food, some of the best Thai I have had in a long time. But it was the customer service that really excelled. All the team were super nice. We had a problem paying with a gift voucher and they were really patient and let us stay even after closing time to finish dessert. Thank you!

Stopped in for a nice food adventure, and was not disappointed. Sat at the bar, and Tony was incredible with great recommendations, a great smile, and really nice drinks.
We enjoyed a mojito, spicy margarita, and a classic Mai Tai.
We started with the prawn papaya salad (Som Dtum Goong)- wow! Then the crab fried rice (Khao Pad) and the marinated chicken dish (Gai Yang) which was very flavorful and a nice big portion that left us very satisfied. We went medium spice which wasn’t too spicy at all, so if you like Thai spicy, get full spice.
With all the recommendations by Tony being spot on, we took his nudge to get the Coconut Ice Cream w/ sweet corn and nuts. Perfect ending to an amazing meal!

Crab Fried Rice Gai Yang Coconut Ice Cream
Amazing Thai food! Everything I ordered was delicious.
The larp moo was refreshing, but the minced pork was a little too spicy for me.
The crab fried rice was really good! You can see the chunks of crab meat in the dish. I love how they paired it with lime and fish sauce.
The Thai milk tea was on point. It was strong and not diluted. The ice to drink proportion was good too!
The staffs were friendly. Definitely recommend dropping by and trying it out!
