KIDO is a traditional Fukuoka-style ‘hakata-ku’ skewer bar, newly opened in Minden Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Chicken is their specialty, KIDO offers incredible variety in the chicken genre, from gizzard and liver to neck and tail … you name it, they’ve got it! With a commitment to quality produce, they uses the Yamato Nikudori chicken which is known for its juiciness and rich texture.
The open kitchen offering diners a close up view of the chef’s preparation and let you enjoy the meal with all your senses.

About 5 min walk from the shopping mall K12 where MTR Tsim Sha Tsui station is located. The setting feels very Japanese but the spacing between tables are a bit closed as expected. Our party is 4 ordered 4 different lunch set meals. Taste are about average and are really not bad. Service is ok as it’s obvious they are short of staff.
香港尖沙咀的烤雞肉串居酒屋。
烤雞肉串和日本烤雞肉串一樣美味,不愧是日本烤雞肉串。
不過說實話去了兩次,不過是第二次,可能是因為沒有日式烤肉店,服務差,味道差了點。
如果招牌圖片中的烤爐不在廚房裡,最好避開它。
We were disappointed by this much hyped yakitori restaurant in TST. Both its exterior & interior designs look very cool, with a tiny wooden entrance to emphasize authenticity. Unfortunately as with many restaurants in HK tables are really small & incredibly cramped together, with waiting staff rushing about the dining experience wasn’t pleasant at all. This restaurant prides itself of using imported Japanese chicken for a wide range of yakitori dishes, but unfortunately most were not grilled slowly & properly, maybe because it was so busy.
Service was really bad, like the worst I’ve ever seen, we waited one hour+ for first dish to arrive.
Sorry, although food is decent, but I can’t recommend this to anyone.

炭火燒雞胸半生熟 – 呢個又系好好味, 雞胸半生熟吾鞋口好嫩, 加細蔥, 辣蘿蔔茸, wasabi一齊食, 呢個好似系時令野吾系經常有, 必吃??
呢度仲有個宮崎雞腿肉炭火鐵板燒又系招牌, 聽講又系一定要試, 至於雞既串燒我就吾多講啦, 睇相啦?? 水準以上?
另外…..牛脷…..得??? 仲有豚肉卷, 當中有豆苗同韮菜芝士兩款都好多人會叫黎食, 我尋晚又系賣晒? 只好叫另一款香蔥味, 豬味濃, 油香夠, 不過配香蔥就一般. 仲有…呢度既飯團都要試下?
尋晚原來個日本師傅放假, 平時如果佢系度仲有D特別野食, 如果下次再訂檯一定問下佢有冇返先.???

聖誕節正日嚟食個午餐。
個炸雞係總廚心血之作,沙律醬個味好搶,而個雞好嫩口,入口會想滑入㗋嚨,真係要小心食
正所謂一吋長一吋強,今日去點撚左個水蛇春咁長個名既午餐,真係誠意之作長得有道理!
Very delicious yakitori. Grill おにぎり (Rice Ball) is excellent. Kinds of seasoning choice. Little bit expensive.
午餐雞串燒有5款,好味且少過$150連加一,南蛮雞雖然無日本咁好味,也算oK。甜品有蕨餅,正!

最好主廚晌到先去,我試過lunch 主廚晌到,今次佢就放假, 訂枱話要對住主廚又唔講主廚放假, 話咗想坐吧枱mark低咗但又俾普通枱我!三款原酒又話冇,再叫燒酎又話冇,雞心頂又冇叫嘢都要叫師傅再叫侍應先有人應,斟茶次次都要叫

An authentic Japanese chef, and warmth services. Hardly to find a restaurant to use charcoal for grilling in HK, highly recommend for Yakitori lover. Reservation is needed.

One of the best Yakitori in town. Make sure to reserve a table first. Best seats are sitting around the bar tables. Must eat the Tokushima Awaodori chicken (德島阿波尾雞).

Decent food but bad service. The waitress rushed us to leave 45 minutes before the time limit – yes there is dine-in time limit of 1.5 hour while dishes were served slowly. Not recommended.

串燒豬肉定食可口美味,豬肉內有韭菜、蘋果、明太子之類的東西,特別清新開胃
店內特色炸雞定食中規中矩,不及串燒定食好吃,但日本米飯煮?️好吃
一個月後來再去試備長炭燒鰻魚定食,熱辣辣,適合寒冷日子食用,週六反而不見日本人廚師⋯是次飯煮?️太軟,水太多⋯
洗手間?十分乾淨,還有牙線棒、粒裝漱口水提供,十分細心⋯
加上職員有禮,總的來說,用餐過程不錯
串燒好味,尤其是紫蘇明太子豬肉卷,不過侍應嘅服務就認真麻麻。
Cosy restaurant, great food and friendly service. Recommend their chicken skewers, my favorite is the chicken meatball, skin and heart.
Only con is theres 2 time slot so felt a little rush, recommend booking in advance.
