Good value for price and really good bakery!
The best sourdough bread in Hong Kong. And fantastic pistachio financier cake!
Nice bread in reasonable price. Natural yeast used. Taste is gd.
It’s a lovely bakery along the streets of Sheung Wan, not too far off the other outlet aup the hills at Mid-levels. They do have pretty good coffee to go along, and the breakfast deals can be quite mind-blowing. Make sure you check it out whenever you can or are around the area, and try to see if you can use your Entertainer coupons for the place. It aims to be a regular go-to bakery especially if you stay or work around the area, or am on the way to work!
The financier cakes and a few other sweets are nice, the baguette and other breads are not freshly made unfortunately – just another big brand similar to Paul or Delifrance, not the real artisan french bakery …
I can’t speak to the quality of the coffee but this place makes lovely baguette sandwiches and cookies.
So. Good.
If you want French bread and pastries, there is no better place in Hong Kong than any branch of this famous Parisian boulanger.
Good French bakery, try the sourdough and the financiers.
Almond croissant is good
Eric Keyser is a Parisian based bakery that started here in Hong Kong probably 5 years ago. There are now six branches spread around Hong Kong Island including this branch along Wing Lok Street along Sheung Wan.
This Eric Keyser is not far from the MTR Station and opens early at 7am on weekdays and 7.30am on weekends. Here you find an expected range of pretty good pastries, breads, muffins, sweet orders as well as a few sandwiches and fruit cups.
We stopped two weeks ago and enjoyed a ham & cheese croissant, almond croissant and coffee drinks. The croissants where ok, not bakehouse (Wan Chai) good but good enough for the price paid. Crust was slighly flaky, layers a bit bready and chewy but not bad. Coffee drinks were fine.
In the end, not a ton of good bakeries in HK for proper bread and coffees. Eric Keyser is one to look out for if you want something light and are seeking a place that opens early.
The crossiants taste good, while the coffee here are relatively mild, which doesnt fit me much.
The one and only best place for European bread in Hong Kong.
Best bread in town
Fresh foods and place tidy and clean.
One of the best bakery in town!
Tried the small Crossiant and so call chocolate molten cake. Perhaps other cakes or pastries are better but I can’t say as I only tried these 2 items and both are complete miss. Crossiant soggy, yes it was extremely buttery but that was all it was. Chocolate molten cake was not exploding from the centre as expected but solid as seen in the photo. No plates given, rather placed straight on top of tray liner. Mine even was given with a napkin on top of my cake. I ordered Americano with a little milk, tasted more like cheap filter coffee.
Safe to say will never come again.
Great place, especially for a late breakfast on weekends
Yummy
Love their cheese and ham sandwich. Other things are pretty good too. Good value for a chain.
Delicious!
Best bakery in hong kong
We went there looking for croissants and rolls that tasted like at home and definitely found them here.
This Eric Kaiser store is very disappointing. I am a regular customer and prefer other branches in Hong Kong.
The quality of pastries and prepared foods is good, but the bread is as hard as stone. I spent lots of money on baguettes that ended up going straight to the trash.
The staff are not particularly welcoming. In the morning there are often no trays and bags available for self-service. The saleswomen do not put the client first, they often prioritize other tasks than serving the customers who are in the store and queueing.
Some work by management is definitely needed in Sheung Wan to get back to the level of quality and service that made Eric Kaiser so popular.
美味法式cake,so good taste!
Gr8 coffee & pastry; good service; a bit pricey but their efforts in environment protection make up for it 👍🏿 …
Great crusty bread and the ham and cheese baguette is top quality. Some deals to be had if combining mains, sides and drinks. Keep an eye out for the stickers. Believe they can also do cakes/tartes to order.
There was a terribly rude, new, French staff at the reception and the bread was really bad compared to the central branch. Please do not visit this Eric Kayser if you can avoid it.
Their lemon tart is very tasty!
the best value patisserie in Hong Kong….consistent high quality….fresh baguettes come out the oven at about 7pm…fantastic
Good pastry, bread and cafe. Must try their chocolate and hazelnut cake
Fresh bread! great service
Slightly overpriced. Delicious nonetheless. In a great location and always stocked.
Service is ok
But they messed up my tuna sandwich by (carelessly) adding blueberry jam inside …
Very good sandwitch and croissant!
