I love vietnamese food and this place ticks all the boxes for me. The Chicken Pho and spring rolls is magic and are my favourite! Tucked in above Hollywood Rd on Aberdeen St. is its great location and the restaurant has a warm, inviting and friendly feel. I recommend this place for either a quick snack or a delicious meal. Also, the ice tea is everything to write home about 🙂
Nice food, a bit crowded though.
Only visited when the restaurant was new (1 month old), good quality and reasonably prices authentic vietnamese food.
This place is so small you will probably miss it the first time. Well, try again because it is actually worth the try.
Service is nice and smiley, food is tasty and homemade, actually the kitchen is open so you can spot your food in the making, it is fresh and savoury. Nothing fancy but price is cheap so fancy is not what you are exepecting.
Definitely a good place for lunch time if you work in the neighbourhood. Vermicellis are good, banh mi is very crispy and savoury.
Good Vietnamese food at a decent price.
Excellent pho bo, the broth was beautiful and tasty as they come! All I have to offer are minor suggestions on matters of taste…
(1) The Thai basil was served on the stem already inside the soup. In order to tear it into smaller pieces (the usual way, which maximizes its flavor) required fishing it out first, and getting broth all over my hands.
(2) The noodles were a little on the soft side for my taste, but this is only a matter of taste. However, because they soften while in the bowl, the restaurant could cook them slightly more al dente and then the customer could eat them when they achieve the desired softness.
Delicious Pho at a good price.
The best Bahn Mi we have had since we left Vietnam. The Bun Rice noodles are exceptional also. Priced really well, a meal and drink will only set you back about $100 HKD
Very tasty and carefully prepared. A bit pricey but not overly dramatic especially given location. Enjoyed it very much.
Quite mediocre and more expensive than other Vietnamese places in the area.
Took ages to get served, too.
Nice music and atmosphere though.
A very small place tucked away on Aberdeen Street. All the staff here are Vietnamese with Hanoi accents so no doubt this place is authentic. I ordered the Hanoi Pho and the spring rolls and the chả lá lốt. The chả lá lốt was quite authentic and the spring rolls were very, very crispy and light. The salad roll looked light but was surprisingly filling but the pho wasn’t as good as so hoped it would be. Still, I’ll be back!
great pho but it’s so uncomfortable to sit inside – if you can find a seat.
Great staff and healthy options at reasonable prices. The whole experience leaves you feeling great.
Possibly the best pho in HK. ❤️

One of the few places which taste like the Pho I had back in Canada. As a bonus, it’s msg free!
Really nice Vietnamese food and the price is reasonable. Had the dried noodles. The portion is quite big. Yummy food 🙂
No service charge and the service was GREAT!! Great foods and inexpensive.
Fab food, friendly, small place but works well…. do try the experience!!!
Not qualified to comment if it’s authentic or not. But the beef noodle is definitely different from other Vietnamese restaurants with branches. I like it doesn’t have strong beef flavour.
Came over for a late lunch based on Google review. The climb from Sheung Wan helps to work up an appetite. (Or if you’re lazy, head up on the escalator and come down from Caine Road) My son enjoyed the steamy bowl of Pho Bo to the last drop. I really liked the Pho Ha Noi with the strong ginger flavor and better cuts of beef. The wife tried the Bahn Mi which was nice, but could’ve used a bit more foi gra… Bottom line, a nice inexpensive Vietnamese food in the midst of SoHo. Will definitely be back again. Now I just have to figure out parking!
I spent a week in Vietnam last year and this food comes pretty damn close to the real thing! My bun cha was fresh, flavourful, crisp and crunchy. A nice mix of flavours (at a great price) makes this place a must-go.
My wife’s favourite Vietnamese place, so I have to rate it 5 stars. Tbh, it’s pretty good, full of flavour, reasonably priced and friendly service in a nice part of town.
Supposed to be very authentic Vietnamese pho place, we had the spring roll was very good. The beef noodles with ginger is a bit of a surprise, taste very gingerly and quite different from our expectations. Will try sth else next time to give them justice. Tried their branch in Kennedy Town was good too.
The banh mi and pho are hands down the best I’ve had. Good service and nice staff. Definitely worth the price and a visit!
One of my favourite pho bo in town. The clear booth is so tasty. Fresh mint and lime soda is refreshing.
Lovely staff. Thought the food slightly lacked taste but still good and all fresh
Tasty food and not too expensive. Cash only though.
Best Pho in Central!
All of their Pho is fantastic so just pick what you’re feeling like. Also highly recommend their salads, both the chicken and beef are outstanding. Very friendly staff who do a good job in the small quarters. Can get quite busy at meal time but moves relatively quickly and you can always get the seat outside if nobody is taking that.
Great value for what you get !! They have fresh coconut and is so cheap!! Service good!!
Outstanding Vietnamese food at a fraction of its more popular neighbor down the street.
Came here with expectations – had Bun Cha in Hanoi – a delish specialty there. Not disappointed ! Restaurant has local feel, casual setting, beautiful green house. Everything was authentic & yummy, served with lots of herbs.
cozy shop and authentic vietnam food…I enjoyed moonlight when I sit outdoor
名字叫buncha,但菜單上沒有buncha
顧客絡繹不絕
老實說沒什麼大不了的
與該地區的泰國和越南混合餐廳同級別
Small authentic Vietnamese restaurant tucked away in a small nook. Excellent food and service. Highly recommended!
份量好感人,好吃~
Slightly overpriced, tho it is quite traditional. Expect the menu would hv more choices
Ordered the fried pork chop rice and iced coffee for lunch. The coffee was OK, but the pork chop was really really good! Make sure to apply a generous amount of lemon chili sauce for a spiciness/tanginess that pairs perfectly with the pork chop.
地方細細,食物唔錯,但抽氣嘛嘛,食完全身油煙味
really nice spring rolls and pork neck skewers👍🏻 the place is rather small so better call before walking all the way up from sw station:) …
Fantastic Vietnamese, could eat here every night!
Really good Vietnamese food. Bun thit nuong is awesome. A variety of different herbs would be good with the pho.
Very decent pho. Soup isn’t always consistent in flavor but it was excellent the last time we were there. Everything is always fresh, and the staff always very nice. Definitely come here for pho! Better than most of the other ones in Central.
With plenty of herbs and ginger, it’s hard to stop yourself from devouring this soup. The owner is Vietnamese, and this small shop is enticing enough to make customers in high heels climb to the top of Hollywood Street for a taste of this dish. Definitely worth the trip, even in a pair of heels!
Love the food but the place is a lot smaller than expected. I would suggest take out because I noticed a lot of people ordering delivery which means they offer delivery service via a third party.
Ok for quick in/quick out. Cash only
Good vietnamese restaurant although it is “hard to reach”. It is in aberdeen st. which is very steep road in the high levels area. If you live near by is worthy.
Best phos in central HK!
Friendly staff and cosy place is bonus.
Absolutely worth climbing up this far for a nice Vietnamese meal!
