A little disappointing. Saw this cute neighborhood restaurant open up and was so eager to try it. The decor does give you HCM vibes, the taste? Not so much. Bun Rieu has no tomato taste, pho is too bland. And funny thing is, no one speaks Vietnamese! I mean there’s only like < 10 things on the menu, at least recognize the names of each. Regardless, it did not pass my half viet taste palette.
Try not coming lunch time either. The wait for the food is ridiculously long. Food comes out in the wrong order, there’s absolutely no service upstairs, staff looks confused, I’m confused as to why they look confused. (Don’t get me wrong, they did look like they tried their hardest.) I gave this place four tries, but I highly doubt the fifth would be the charm.
