Ngon qua!! so yummy! First authentic vietnamese in hk!!!
New restaurant – everything is very authentic (food and whole restaurant). No need to travel to Vietnam – just visit this place to get a viet-feeling
Perfect place in Sheung Wan to get an authentic Vietnamese fix! I don’t know what the people that rated this a 1-star are complaining about. Their branding clearly states that they’re serving what Viet folks actually eat, albeit at Hong Kong prices.
IMHO, the food was excellent. The must-haves are the chicken wings, the prawn summer rolls, chả cá lã vọng (fried halibut fillet), the daily special, and the avocado mousse & coconut ice cream. Also, don’t forget to grab a cheeky phin coffee with condensed milk!
Be sure to check the menu, as they have a daily special that ranges from the extreme (think pig blood and trotter) to the super safe pho ga – which I look forward to trying on Saturday!
P.S. I love the vibrant decor and accurate depiction of restaurants in Saigon. Congrats on the opening and getting hitched, Lewis & Kay 🙂

This Vietnamese restaurant is hands down the tastiest and most authentic I’ve had outside Vietnam 🤤 Spoiler – there’s no Pho!
We had the eggplant, jackfruit banh mi, summer rolls 🤤 and I had the bun mam which was the noodles of the day and for dessert we had sticky rice with banana and coconut cream. It was soooo delicious, can’t wait to go back.

The food is yummy and relatively cheap compared to other restaurants in Sheung Wan.
I highly recommend the summer rolls with prawn, this is a great delicacy.

Food was cheap and bad! Not full at all. Spent $160 for a set meal. Soup was rubbish and the salad was Pathetic. The crab meat in the crab noodle was not fresh at all. Meat was hard. Don’t visit. 🙁

Food was delicious and well priced. The fried fish dish was better than something very similar I had at a famed restaurant in Hanoi. My friend’s chicken noodle soup was also perfect. Generous portions (maybe a bit more of the tasty sauce would be good though?). Don’t understand the negative reviews at all… almost believe they’re from competitors 🤔 Very friendly service. Will definitely be back.

Very very average taste – I would even say bad state. Lunch set like 140-150 including service charge for a super small salad and poor portion of noodles. Not recommend at all

Ordered their 4 person set over a delivery app and was so surprised with the fantastic quality of the meal. Packed full of flavour and quality ingredients. The Pho Ga is out of this world, quite different from anything else offered in HK (with lots of lemongrass and lime leaf flavour) and the Banhmi has generous fillings (I loved the chunky radish/carrot pickles). 100% will try again, and come in-store too.
Edit: so I kept my promise and came in-store to try again – the food is legit!!

Great authentic little Vietnamese banh mi restaurant in Sheung Wan. The vibes remind me very much of Vietnam, and the staff are all Vietnamese and polite! Very authentic Banh Mi spot! A must go!

Prawn Summer Rolls Fried Halibut Fillet
Got Pho Bo and Rice Paper Salad, so gooood, even better than the ones I had in Vietnam, I drank the entire pho broth! The place makes you feel like you are in Vietnam! so cool! Will be back for more noodles! They do different noodles special daily or weekly.

The food is fantastic. Lunchtime rush can get a little hectic, but they managed well.
Boss (?) lady took a look at my order and clarified if vegetarian, because the spring rolls are not. Such considerate proactiveness!
Banh mi and coffees were DELICIOUS. Took time keep refilling our waters. I enjoyed~

Amazing customer service, kudos to all staff who constantly checked on us and made sure we were enjoying the food.
Food was nothing like the other Vietnamese food you get in hk. Reminds me of a hot day in Hanoi hanging out by the street food stall!
Couldn’t recommend this more. If you want HK-Vietnamese food, go to one of the boring chains but if you want real Vietnamese food this is the place.
Thankful for the team who made my early birthday celebration so special. Appreciate your hard work!

Pho Bo Stir-Fried Chicken Wings W
Beautiful decor copied from Vietnamese streets including little plastic chairs AND 100 % authentic báhn mi with real paté. Their menu included quite a bit more classic street food but I’ll taste it other times.This is possibly the second out of two good true Viet food places in HK SAR.
Coffee is real but wasn’t spectacular though.
I will be back and will provide better photos for this review 🙂

Serves authentic Vietnamese, pretty much ordered most dishes on the menu. Love they have Cha Ca La Vong, it’s quite a rare dish to find in HK. Grill chicken was yummy and they make their own bread for Banh Mi as well! Def recommending this place and can’t wait to go back!

Everything about this place makes it unique! From the moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted with such positive energy and good vibes! The nostalgic interior with bold colours really stand out which elevates your whole dining experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and the food is just at another level. For someone like myself who doesn’t know much about Vietnamese ingredients makes you appreciate the rich complex flavours that go into each dish. Highly recommended : )

Did I go to the wrong restaurant? Why is it so highly rated? Came here because of the 4.7 stars, but the food was actually closer to 1 star. The portions were tiny, flavours were weird, and it was not cheap at all for what you get. The rice rolls were large, but only because they stuff it with noodles. Open it up and you will see they don’t even use one shrimp for 1 roll. Service was cool though. Anyway I’m scratching my head how ya’ll are rating 5 stars. My bar for food is low too.
Edit: Forgot to mention the viet coffee tasted like it was made with dirty water 🤨

Our expectations were high given all the great reviews, but sad to say we had a disappointing experience. The green “mango” salad had ironically almost no mango and it was a bunch of raw rice paper strips that eventually stuck altogether to make one big clump. The grilled chicken was quite salty (lots of salt on the rice too, and the accompanying sauce as well). The beef banh mi was ok, the pandan tea and coconut coffee were average. General service was fine except for when I asked for a knife to be told to just use my hands.

Overall food tasted way too sweet. Banh mi was soggy. The rice paper in the salad was rock hard, not chewable.
Amazing Bahn mi. Fish , chicken and jackfruit. Been here few times and great food, great service and lovely little place.
