Nice and friendly gay bar always open.
Fun bar with friendly staff. Last time I was there, however, there must have been some kind of complain to police because several police came in asking for IDs from everyone. It was very unsettling. However, the staff kindly apologized and gave out free shots to everyone genial gesture to make up for the inconvenience. That one incident aside, the music is great, not too loud to talk and fun atmosphere overall.
Not quite what it used to be, as there appears to be no drinking on the street outside allowed now. Not so packed on a weekend any more.

Bar with girl’s allowed. No gays. Bad smelly of bar tender smoking and smoke of tobacco. Visitors not friendly. No gay song or tv that help gays to work in nights. Very expensive drinks. Don’t go there to find your night way.
Music sucks but still I’m grateful there’s somewhere to go on a Sunday right on CNY at 3am

It’s an okay bar, the White owner is super rude and doesn’t know how to give good customer service.
This is a fun spot walking distance to home. I always have a good time here. I like how the crowd spills out onto the street at night and everyone just seems to get along. Lots of smiles and friendly attitude.

Too many unruly guests. Ordered 2 drinks and both of them were knocked over by extremely drunk people who were sleazing over the bar. Bartender also charged me double for a drink. Won’t go back here again. Go to FLM. It’s better.

動物園酒吧的氣氛總是很好。
The drinks are reasonably well mixed and, unlike some other venues, in my experience NOT watered down. They’re not cheap, but about what you’d pay elsewhere. The ambience depends on how big the crowd is and who is there (predominantly gossipy bottoms, but what can you expect in HK?). The staff are approachable and attentive, but not particularly friendly or welcoming (no big deal). The biggest negative is the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke when you walk in. Even if you stay for just one drink you’ll go home stinking like an ashtray. C’mon guys – it’s not a difficult problem to fix and it’s not like you’re unaware of it. So what then? Do you just not care?
Chill crowd when I went. Both customers and employees were friendly. Great drinks!
I love the atmosphere at this bar and the crowd is very vibrant. The crowd is considerably mixed from young and more mature. Will definitely come back.
