Excellent food with reasonable price. The staffs are very honestly, I accidentally left my wallet on the cashier counter and they try hard to look for me to return my wallet and there were not a dollar missing.
Amazing food. Great private dining facilities. Good spot to meet in a large group as a central location.

We were sat at a table quickly for dinner but after 30 minutes of being blatantly ignored by staff, decided to leave and find somewhere more willing to take our money.

Among all other Maxim branches, it’s dim sums r all better quality, n good values during their weekday 2:00 to 4:30 afternoon tea special price session.

It’s an institution serving dim sum to a packed and hungry crowd. Worth going at least once for the experience but there’s better food elsewhere.

Traditional dim sum. Typical Chinese. Must do even if you are visiting. Pros are parking (because of the mall) and the price. Some severs just speak just mandarin so it was difficult to communicate even in Cantonese. Price are very cheap and if you consider quality/cost ratio it’s very good. Suggested.
Some people have trouble finding this place. It is inside city hall, upstairs. It’s better than mostly all dim sum that I’ve had in the US, but it’s pretty standard for HK. Very large dining room and the carts zoom by. You don’t have a lot of time to decide and act so it can be kind of intimidating. Still have very cool and fun place to visit.

An all time favorite dim sum place…
I lot of choices of dim sum, very easy to access via MTR (Sheung Wan). It is located at the basement of Shun Tak, a less expensive version of the Maxim’s Palace at the City Hall. You would expect more locals.
