Ordered through Uber Eats. My prawn curry has exactly 3 prawns in it. For $100. This is a joke. Please don’t cheat customers.
Hit or miss. The omelet pad thai is really good. Well seasoned, tasty noodles, fast and delicious. The curry fried rice is seriously iffy. Overly fishy. Filled with rock hard dried peas (I hope). It has earned its hidden gem status, but too many dishes have unpleasant aspects.
Really tasty food, affordable sets, polite staff. Both the tom yum noodles and the green curry were good. Not huge servings, but intense flavours, so it’s more than enough. More
Love this place! Been coming here since it opened maybe eight or nine years ago and Jidam, Jimmy and the crew are still on top of their game, serving truly authentic Thai food in the heart of the new Wan Chai village.
Every time I come to HK I make a bee line for this place, and they’ve never let me down. It’s become my private kitchen 😉
The queues of people at peak times are demonstrable evidence of their success and the consistent quality of both food and service.
This time, I was so hungry I ate pork with basil, and….a whole fried Tilapia fish washed down with a chilled Chang! Delicious!
Reasonably priced and served with typical friendly Thai service.

As soon as we entered the restaurant the service was inattentive and unwelcoming. We read previous reviews on this restaurant and realised that the quality of food has gone downhill in the last couple of years. We decided to give it a go anyway. TRUST THE REVIEWS. The food is absolutely horrible tastes bad and is overpriced. Honestly felt sick and unsatisfied after leaving half of the food on the plate. Especially the fried rice. There are WAY better Thai places in Hong Kong for cheaper prices.
This is one of the best Thai food places in Hong Kong. The food is very reasonably priced and it gives you a vibe of the Bangkok roadside restaurants. Must try!

Good Thai food, not exceptional, but simple. Service slow, not engaged at all. Price is a bit high for simple food + slow service. You pay for the location (wan chai, close to the MTR).
They have few Vegitarian option which is kind of a big deal in Hong Kong. Pineapple fried rice is delicious.
Not sure how noodles taste but the fried rice here was a huge disappointment. It was too wet and too bland. The Tom Yum was not spicy or sour enough but overly sweet. The crab omelette was oily and got quite a few tiny hard crab shells in it.
We saw the polarised reviews hence we tried. If you decided to give it a go like we did, at least make sure to stay away from any kinds of rice, Tom yum soup, and omelettes.
Taste good, especially Pad Thai.

Ordered a boat noodle and a ‘Thai-style’ fried rice
The boat noodle was pretty good I must say, however the ‘Thai-style’ fried rice was just hugely disappointing. I was so in shock when I saw it, it did not at all look like a Thai-style fried rice and it has not much taste even if it was a regular Chinese fried rice. It was so bad that i felt like it ruined my day – it’s that bad, so do yourself a favour and not order the Thai-style fried rice
泰式船麵的湯頭濃郁，喝得出來放了很多香料烹製，整體味道不俗，相較同區其他泰式餐廳的船麵算是有競爭力。與其他船麵一樣，份量略顯不足，食量大的男生女生飯後估計很快會餓。另外，連餐奉送的特飲不錯，龍眼茶有特色。
TLDR: Great Veggie Options!!
I spent all evening looking for a vegetarian restaurant to eat at after 8:30pm in wan chai, and all my usual places were closed. After looking at 2 Thai restaurants in a row that didn’t seem to have good vegetarian options, I was so excited when I came across this spot.
We ordered a tofu basil fried rice and a Penang curry with tofu, and both were quite good! Will definitely be coming back.
Nice but I’d prefer street stalls in Bangkok more
Came here randomly on a hot day but it was quite stuffy inside that restaurant.
As I did not know what to order, I ordered the set which includes a drink and pork knuckles with gravy.
The drink came first, it was Lemon tea.
It ruined the start because it was syrupy sweet.
Not long, the pork knuckle arrived but it was luke warm. I was expecting it to be burning especially because it was such a hot day that day.
Anyway, the pork knuckle was dry and tough it seemed like it had been cooked for a long time and left around.
The sauce was a bit too sweet and salty.
The restaurant is in the center of Wan Chai. The waiters and the cooks are from Thailand. I see a lot of customers that are Thai people, so I believe the Thai food in this restaurant is very authentic.
I recommend the minced pork with lettuce here, pork neck and pad thai. Under the joint effect of various spices, these dishes are very much in line with my appetite.
If you want to eat authentic and cheap Thai food in Wan Chai, be sure to consider this place.
The total price for three dishes is HK $ 222.
Had the fried rice which turned out pretty decent. I expected lots of hot spiciness but it was hardly that. Even the cut chillies lacks it. Don’t come here for the ambiance. Come here for the good food. Limited sitting place. A bit pricey, HKD80 per person.

The first time to be here & curious to try given the queue outside even before it opened for lunch. Staff were Thai people whereby I think the food should be authentic. However, it was big disappointment when the food & drink arrived. Simply it tasted not good. Bye bye.
the taste of the boat noodle soup is okay. But thai iced tea with milk doesn’t have much flavor in it, probably they added too much water and ice into the tea.

Small Thai restaurant off the busy Johnson Road, Wanchai. Menu has all the popular dishes, serves bottled beer and soft drinks.
Phad thai and can of Thai coke cost HK$96. Found the food bland. Wooden chopsticks, metal spoons and forks, and paper straws.

The staffs, all women, are the most rude and impolite Thai I met in my whole life, I bought apt in Phuket I guess I know well about Thai ppl, the food is okay compared to tons of high quality Thai restaurants in HK, but won’t go there for sure plus the pricing is far way compared to the uncomfortable dining environment and service

Very disappointed. I used to visit Bangkok once a month for business and I love Thai food and Thai people. The food they served here is not of authentic Thai style which is still understandable as this is in HK. But the staff here are extremely rude. It was the most horrible experience I ever had in HK. One of the ladies who is a bit chubby showed me face even when I was ordering food. Before I paid for the bill, I asked if they can split the receipt into 2, she just immediately print it out and slammed the casher and said it cannot be done with the rudest and most impatient tone I have ever seen coming out of a Thai person in my life. I do not recommend anybody to visit this restaurant.
When the restaurant was in their earlier days, it was the best Thai restaurant in Wan Chai. After the new re-decoration and design, the food quality is not the same as it once was.

Very nice food served by Thais. The spicy fried noodles ( phad kimao) is good. But for my liking, the spiciness has reduced to fit local taste
The flat noodles is very nice. The texture is so chewy. 👍🏼
