Would recommend this place for lunch. Food is tasty and filling. Some dishes are quite spicy so suggest you ask for non-spicy options if you can’t take spice!
Excellent spot for weekend free-flow brunch. All the food is fresh and portions are decent. You get to try 4 different starters including the pork/chicken satay, papaya salad, pork larb and tom yum soup. For mains, my favorites are their pad thai with prawns and the green chicken curry. The staff is very friendly and happy to accommodate special requests. Can’t wait to go again!

Genuine Thai food in HK !!
I have been missing nice Thai food for many years after I moved from BKK to HKG.
Ruam is the best place to feel the atmosphere and taste of Thailand !
I can not pick one or two menus for the best as every dish is amazing ! But If someone really really really push me to pick one , I would recommend the kor moo yang (the charred pork neck) as the best .(but still can’t stop recommending Pad Thai kung , phad kaprow moo, chicken skewers, Mango sticky rice and Coconut ice cream !! )
Jeff , the manager in Ruam would provide the best service and cheerful atmosphere as well. You would be ‘proper happy’ while you are there no matter what happened to your life.
The venue is good for two , four, eight or even bigger staff party too.
Go for Ruammmmmm !

Nice restaurant. Great service. Comfortable for friends gathering. The food is good. We enjoy our light lunch there.
Our first visit to Ruam Thai in Wanchai. What started out as an apprehensive initial few minutes gave way to a wonderful dining experience.
We were escorted to the spacious terrace with large oversized wicker chairs from Thailand. Service by Suzie was simply spectacular! She was very proactive and caring.
The food was out of this world! Tom Yum Noodles, Pad Thai, Morning Glory, Mango Sticky Rice……….all spectacular!
It is no wonder that even at 330pm in the late afternoon they were almost packed.
Suzie thank you for your exceptional care. You have won us over, we will be back.
Wonderful Thai restaurant in Wan Chai. The terrace may well be unique in Wan Chai. Good food, restaurant with a buzz, a place to really chill with friends & enjoy the evening.

泰式黃咖喱三文魚 𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻
第一次吃黃咖喱配三文魚，比想像中出色。三文魚有𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘄-𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱風味，肉質非常嫩滑𝗝𝘂𝗶𝗰𝘆，黃咖喱的椰香味重，這個配搭好𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁。
香蕉烤餅配椰子雪糕 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗶
作為泰國名物，不得不吃。暖烘烘上桌， 𝟵小件每件都有焦糖脆片香蕉和朱古力醬點綴。椰子雪糕香濃，不知道是否因為是自家製或是天氣太熱，比較快溶，與𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲一起吃，很有泰國的味道！
Authentic thai food, excellent drinks.
We travel a lot and consistently return to your restaurant. It is quite simply a lovely combination of ambience, quality food and thoughtful engaging staff.

The service was bad, so so bad! We spoke to two different servers and they seemed to be confused about everything …which would be understandable if it were a Cantonese restaurant and we could only speak English but they were unable to communicate to us well in English or Cantonese.
The quality of the food was quite poor for the price that we paid. We paid around $1k for one starter, two curries, one rice, a large soup and two non-alcoholic drinks.
We ordered the Pla Muk (squid) and this was ok but a bit dry and needed more sauce.
We enjoyed the Tom Yum Kung soup, Gaeng penang kung (prawn curry) and Crab yellow curry (this was a special so don’t know the full name) but didn’t’ feel like the price was justified.
The lemongrass tea was so bad. It tasted just like water with a lemongrass stalk in it. We would have expected that the tea to have been properly prepared so that it had some flavor. My partner had to ask for extra syrup to make it drinkable.
All in all we definitely won’t be returning here or recommend this place to our friends. 👎
Awesome outdoor seating, food is good and spicy. Brunch with free flow was worth it. . Service was slow though. They were probably not used to the crowds because of the restrictions

參觀氛圍而不是食物
在香港生活了將近十年之後，我們在不同的餐廳品嚐了一些非常美味的泰國菜，可以自信地說 Ruam 值得一試。味道絕對不是正宗的，至少可以說食物是平均的。如果您真的不介意吃一般的食物，而是想在灣仔尋找一些方便的屋頂用餐選擇，那麼 Ruam 確實提供了一個不錯的氛圍。

Nice Thai place. One floor up from the street, but partially “al fresco”, makes it a nice place to have a drink or eat full meals..

Pretty quiet environnement for chatting, being mostly uncovered the noise level is pleasant. I’ll go back to test more food choices…maybe to add the 5th star 😊
Thai food so far so good , but wait for 40mins for lunch
The vibes are incredible. The food was so fresh, the cocktails were nicely crafted, and the service was so great. It was raining and our server made sure we were well seated and was really accommodating.
The atmosphere was good, but the dishes were really not up to standard.
We had the tasting menu, the spring rolls didn’t seem fresh enough. We also had the pork skewer which was bland in flavour, it could be marinated with some more spices or at least provide a sauce that is spicy and sour to bring in the kick. The green curry was okay, but the spiciness were too overwhelming, it’s also quite watery, a suggestion is to add some more potato and coconut milk to bring back the consistency, the fried rice noodle was also quite bland, although we could taste the “wok hey” but the flavours were just not there, it could be done by adding some oyster sauce instead of soy sauce, some sugar might help to bring out the flavour too. Lastly the mango sticky rice, I presume that this is a popular dish, resulting in high demand of mangoes, however, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the mangoes in the sticky rice had to be served unripe, it was quite sour. Overall, I think the resemblance was there, but some work needs to be done to bring up the standard.

Pretty leafy setting. If you like waving your hands and menu in the air, this place is for you! Aside from one staff back from Canada (that he shared), staff incredibly indifferent to everything – taking away unfinished plates, unresponsive to our requests to turn on fans, top up glasses, and even giving us the bill. Got used to asking 3-4 times for everything. Food was fine, but whisked away every time so suddenly!
糟糕的體驗和服務。我和我的妻子以及我們 5 歲的兒子今天上午 11 點 20 分在附近散步後出現在餐廳。我們詢問餐廳幾點開門，我們被告知上午 11:30。我問他們是否可以在他們完成設置後在他們的戶外休息區等幾分鐘，並被告知這是不可能的，即使在與經理簡短交談後也是如此。不可否認，當我們被告知我們不能在那裡等 10 分鐘時，我們有點驚訝並且相當不為所動。我們沒有在那裡吃飯，選擇了附近另一家合適的餐廳，更友好和包容。
Fantastic quality Authentic Thai. Beautiful decor and plants, indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly, helpful smiling staff. Just like Phuket in the heart of Wanchai. Highly recommend trying it out.
My wife and me went there on a Saturday afternoon the place was busy and vibrant the staff welcomed us warmly at the door. We sat on the outdoor area which is lovely and comfortable. We ordered a couple of dishes. the food and the service were on point , It is truly and wonderful place and worth to recommend to you friends !
【食在灣仔】大滿足😋😋的泰國🇹🇭菜生日飯
同事BOOK咗呢間好有泰國🇹🇭FEEL嘅餐廳，同我食飯預祝生日～最近天氣唔太好，當日更加係黑雨，好彩窩心嘅同事揀咗坐室內。雖然坐室內，又係LUNCH TIME，但都唔會覺得迫，檯與檯之間都有一定距離。室外座位有帳篷，好似後花園🏕🤩咁，如果天氣好，坐室外食飯感覺會好正。
今次唔知點解咁大意無影到MENU，好彩憑記憶都記得自己食咗咩。同事想試MENU以外嘅甜品，所以我哋2個都係揀咗2道菜嘅SET。套餐包括一個前菜、主菜及飲品，每個$138加一；另外有3道菜嘅SET畀客人揀（即甜品，分別係芒果糯米飯、泰式椰汁糕或者椰子雪糕）。
我哋SHARE食，前菜同主菜都有2份。
泰式肉碎生菜包🌮
前菜嚟講，生菜包份量都算多，一共有5大塊生菜，肉碎爆炒得幾香口，生菜包住嚟食都算唔錯。不過我食到第2嚿就覺得辣🌶咗啲，食到後段只剩下辣味；如果味道可以惹味返啲就好了～
雞肉串燒🐔
估唔到前菜會有串燒揀，好開心！🤤串燒燒到金黃帶焦，好香炭火味，而且肉質一啲都唔乾，食落少少脆；旁邊仲伴有沙嗲醬同一大堆花生粒🥜，沙嗲醬有香濃花生味，風味十足，必食！
泰式虎蝦🦐炒金邊粉
泰式虎蝦炒金邊粉好大碟，而更加少有嘅係，佢旁邊另外放咗辣椒🌶粉、花生碎🥜、青檸🍋、生芽菜同香茅畀客人自己揀加唔加。金邊粉份量多，材料都非常豐富，有虎蝦肉、銀芽、韮菜同蛋絲一齊炒。金邊粉雖然炒得唔算乾身，但麵條食落煙韌有彈性，唔會太稔或者碎濕濕。虎蝦蝦肉彈牙，整個粉嘅調味唔錯，酸酸甜甜咁，撈埋花生碎同辣椒粉一齊食，更加香口惹味。😋😋
泰式腰果炒雞飯🍚
呢個飯同我哋想像中有啲落差，因為我以為係炒飯，原來係泰式🇹🇭腰果炒雞伴白飯，下次睇MENU要睇齊2種語言。不過錯有錯著，泰式腰果炒雞🐔呢味菜都幾重口味，唔只有鑊氣，而且調味好夠。若然唔係配白飯嘅話，應該幾難食曬～呢個餸幾好送飯，幾惹味😆，下次可以自己試下炒。
跟餐飲品可以揀泰式奶茶🥤或者泰式香茅茶
我飲泰式奶茶，雖然叫咗少冰🧊但我個杯都係好多冰。同埋我覺得味道唔係好濃，甜味唔夠之餘，奶同茶嘅比例都好似有啲唔平均，感覺稀咗少少，有啲失望🤨，不過要讚嘅係，佢係用正宗泰國🇹🇭茶底，飲之前要記得攪勻杯底先飲，會好飲好多。
香蕉煎餅🫓配椰子雪糕 🥥🍨$88
見到呢個甜品嘅時候，真係幾驚喜，因為我無諗過上面會寫咗字，有蠟燭，而且煎餅分切一格格，每一格上面都舖有香蕉🍌，超細心；每片香蕉亦有焦糖脆面，超吸引！雖然煎餅淋滿醬汁，但食起嚟都keep到脆身同唔油膩，焦糖香蕉更加令味道層次提升，煎餅食落甜甜鹹鹹咁，好正～旁邊嘅椰子雪糕🤵🏿，帶有椰子碎，椰子味🥥超香，唔會過甜，同煎餅一齊食，冷熱交融，正！😍😍
值得一提嘅係，餐廳店員🤵🏻♂️好友善，會同客人傾吓計。問我哋係邊度得知餐廳，又問我哋係咪第一次去，FREE咗我哋嘅甜品。檯面空間有限，就算LUNCH TIME都無好似催人咁一次過上曬食物，要客人快啲食。佢哋見客人食完，就即刻拎走，送上下一碟，無縫接上，服務非常好😚👍🏻侍應點好蠟燭🎂之後，仲會陪住一齊唱生日歌🥳🥳🎼😎😎😎最重要一定係多謝我嘅好同事😘🥰
