茄牛撈旦麵正?? …
Went at 9am on Thursday, what I really enjoyed was trying to find the place, the quietness (only about 3 other diners around) and the French toast (with a hint of peanut butter) with milk tea! The food is also cheaper than other places so it has some value.
The tomato based luncheon meat noodle is so-so, but I haven’t tasted anything like it before so I guess it’s something unique.

Tomato luncheon meat noodles and milk tea were both fantastic! Came here around 11 on Saturday for a late breakfast and it wasn’t crowded at all, which is great. Only downside is that it’s a little difficult to find (look for the Star Cafe sign inside the building, near the electronics shop, and then go all the way in), and service was so-so.
Fresh tomatoes soup base.
One good reason for people to go there, are because you could sit outside and smoke.
Authentic experience for noodles
Cockroaches in my bowl of noodles. The owners are very chilled about this. Apparently they encounter this every day.
I would rate it about 3.5. Tomato noodles soup was alright, sandwich is pretty decent, milk tea was really nice. I think what caught my attention was the Chili that was really well done! Alright breakfast if you’re nearby 🙂

作為一個對茄味無愛既男子，今次只係第二次食呢間茄麵?? 穿過燈紅酒綠既花街，一條濕潤既樓梯，到達猶如秘密基地既星座冰室???
門口（其實我分唔清係咪真係門口），用上幾十年前仿美國快餐店既字體，入面既每事每物，都帶有80年代味道，而當知道呢個地方就快消失，畫面都泛起微黃⏳
講番嘢食，茄麵掛帥，唔揀蕃茄同你去壽司店要食意粉一樣咁不該?? 叫咗蕃茄?撈蛋豬扒麵加芝士?，茄?牛?餐肉?麵，仲有杯紅豆咖啡☕
加芝士係要自己攪均佢? 佢既茄撈蛋係麵係帶有少少湯汁，未至於一pat杰達達，令到丁麵有少許分離，可以比茄汁乘虛而入? 每一啖都可以有湯，茄味，同丁麵?三個主角都有精湛演出?豬扒切到好細條, 肉質還好，但最多只人緣奧斯卡最佳男配角?
茄牛餐肉麵將佢既茄味倍大，留意佢係無茄既酸味??，茄味同牛有種不可抗力，係超夾架喎，餐肉反而好似唔多啱?
紅豆咖啡令我對人生有疑問，其實有啲事同人，係唔啱既無謂夾硬拉埋一齊??
食咗三樣嘢，埋單120左右，未至於係80年代價，但係平過其他地方唔少?

This Hidden Gem of Hong Kong one of the local favorites. An old hangout of celebrities to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. Must-try their peanut butter French toast and their tomato noodle soup.
我去釣魚博客，但有些東西不合我的口味。在香港的美食天堂，你不能以犧牲其他餐廳為代價來這裡。適合有冒險精神的老闆在逛過香港餐廳後喜歡新鮮事物。這個詞只適用於番茄拉麵。法式吐司很好吃，但除了這裡，你可以在更方便的餐廳體驗這種香港法式吐司。很難找到，即使找到了，外表也留下了久違的徬徨。挑戰並不總是好的。

看了谷歌評論，走了15分鐘很失望。
即使酒店就在餐廳前也不要放棄
絕對不是韓國人喜歡的味道。

吃完飯看到店門口有4只蟑螂。。
第一次到星座冰室，在香檳大廈外圍行了好多個圈才發現在地庫，哈哈！
沒有點馳名的蕃茄撈蛋麵，只點了蕃茄牛肉麵和凍奶茶。
麵一吃下就是公仔麵一向的味精湯味，接著就是蕃茄湯味。麵質就是普通的公仔麵而牛肉就有驚喜，肉質很軟而且有牛肉味！
另外奶茶就很普通，不過不失。
總括來說就是一間地道的港式茶餐廳而已~
下次再來就試試馳名的蕃茄撈蛋麵吧。
第二次來吃了蕃茄牛肉撈蛋麵，比上次的蕃茄牛肉麵差，湯底非常咸，只有牛肉可以接受。
總括兩次的經驗，看不見受追捧的地方在哪裡。一部分人一貫港人的「執笠就要去試下」心態，還有一部分人，吃的是回憶吧。
而我，應該就是前者，哈哈，然後就中伏了。
在尖沙咀香檳大廈地庫，環境麻麻，地方簡陋，不明白為什麽有人去幫襯。我叫了招牌一碗芝士番茄雞蛋撈麵。因為之前有報導說這餐廳很用心去做，其中芝士汁是用3/4款卡夫和車打芝士加淡奶和牛油製成，絕不是加片芝士就算。
怎料上桌時，祗有薄薄一片芝士放在麵上，再加些番茄加小小蛋花汁就算，價錢要$42元，太不值了。

穿過一座頗為可疑的建築物時，有一家普通的商店。充滿鄉土氣息。有英文菜單。

再光臨星座冰室，回憶一群同事下午歡樂時光，吹吹水，吃個下午茶餐，又一天！老闆認真煮完一個餐，再另一個餐，送到顧客面前，新鮮可口美味???。需時幾耐，顧客耐心等候他叫美食…顧客感受廚師認心對食物處理??? …
食物質素都一流，店員服務態度有待改進。
2019年更新： 蕃茄麵水準很好，但老闆在店內剪手指甲， 作為食客感到不安。

Very unique experience in here. Click the like button here if you were looking or the restroom and you had to intrude someone’s living space, in the middle of their lunch, watching TV and the whole family starred right back at you like an intruder but you act casually, waived at them as you passed, wondering if you’re at the right place at the right time. Yea just like in the movies but no one is chasing after you.
This place is quite difficult to find . When you follow the gps star cafe you will see a old mall building , you need to walk in this building and find a staircase walk toward 1 floor down . You will see downstair look like morning market and some storage place, then you will see the star cafe restaurant. It’s look abit dodgy place but it’s safe to having food there . You are allow to smoke outside of the shop (which smoking in the mall building). Food is consider cheap in hk , their signature food is toast and tomato soup noodle.

A true local cafe. Navigating the dark building, past the old shops is just part of the process. Enjoy it. When you do get to the cafe, it’s a humble shop with a few tables serving really authentic HK meals and beverages at pretty affordable prices. Highly recommend the luncheon meat egg sandwich and HK iced milk tea. The waitress auntie was really patient which was nice to have once in a while in HK.

I was told that this place exist for ages, was brought here by a friend who told me she grew up to this place. A little hard to find given how complex HK is. Price wise pretty cheap I suppose.
I strongly advise you to go somewhere else . It is truly over-priced and too salty. There are far better choices and now I need a mood saver.
Best french toast. Nice tomato base. Coffee milk as expectedü yum enjoyed it.
