Going under is kinda tricky. ?
Even if we have searched on how to get there it was still a maze to us (foreigners).
Don’t expect a nice place because this spot is almost 70 years old. It is said that it was named “Star” because famous movie icons like Jackie Chan used to dine here to hide from public.
Famous items is the beef and tomato base, it is a simple dish and yet delicious. Tried also the chicken wings, thumbs up!

食物不錯，環境懷舊
之前上網睇好似話九月底會結業，一直都想試，終於可以試到。真係感覺好地道好舊香港嘅感覺 (餐廳環境相係後面) ?? 當初冇睇清楚係地庫行咗好耐都搵唔到，後來發現原來有條樓梯可以落。因為嗰個環境唔似有間餐廳，但係偏偏嗰度就係。?

佢嘅味道唔會好似平時罐頭，好濃好多溶嗰種感覺。佢係偏向比較鮮，而且冇咁鹹。

? 芝士蕃茄撈蛋麵 HK$42
個湯底係蕃茄撈蛋，再加埋成塊芝士，食起嚟真係好濃，成個芝士撈麵咁。
垃圾
冰室在地庫，出名的是蕃茄撈蛋面。湯偏咸，不過蕃茄芝士撈蛋面ok，感覺蕃茄牛比較好吃。另外叫了一個秘製碎豬扒，有點乾身。
隱密的冰室，東西很實在，味道好，但覺得價格可以在便宜一點
Star Cafe is a true hole in the wall (actually hole in the ground since it’s in the basement! ) Hard to find and you have to go down via steps near the foot massage place and then a bit down a corridor. Food is old school quintessential HK. Tomato based instant noodle soup with lots of different toppings. Classic is beef and you can top it off with a fried egg. I don’t believe I’ve seen another place like this in HK. Between the food and the surroundings, this is a classic. Don’t let the appearance of the location put you off. Place may be threatened by redevelopment so don’t pass it up.
Star Cafe is a really famous retro cafe located in the basement of Champagne Court.
I could not find it before because I did not know there was another floor beneath it.
I used to think it was on the same floor as Sun Kee’s.
Recently had a tasting nearby and decided to dine here beforehand, I was determined to find it.
Luckily one of the reviews showed pictures on how to get there and bingo I finally found it.
The scenery was interesting, it was similar to a Chinese version of Chung Kung Mansions.
Sat down and the menu is simple, they serve toasts and noodles.
Most people go there for noodles in tomato broth with mixed egg.
They serve soda in glass bottles, so they have a nice pile of bottle caps.

Tomato and egg macaroni:
I have always wondered why people come here to eat this because it looks like puke on top, but it was surprisingly delicious.
There was a choice of instant noodles, macaroni or pasta.
I did not want to choose the macaroni because they serve the ribbed ones which are really thick but the ones here were not that thick so I ordered it.
I liked the way the macaroni held the soup in the tube part.
The tomato soup broth was really nice, it looked thick but it was actually quite runny with rich tomato flavour that was natural.
The egg that was mixed in the tomato sauce balanced out the tangyness of the tomato.
For people who find tomato and egg a bit plain, they can order tomato with beef or luncheon meat which is also quite popular.
The size of the bowl was quite big but the tomato soup was really appetizing that I finished it all.
I have put a standard bowl next to it so you can see how big the bowl is.

Condensed milk with peanut butter toast:
I do not usually eat this because of the butter, but here it was delicious and there was no butter.
The toast was fresh and toasted lightly hence it was crispy and soft in the centre.
The peanut butter and condensed milk tasted nice together because the amount they used was just right.
出名番茄蛋芝士 好食
環境不好。但食物質素良好。
我覺得芝士番茄撈蛋麵很好很好很好吃 又好道地! 奶茶還算中規中矩啦~
繞了一會兒才找到 地點好隱密 哈哈 吃的很開心

番茄牛肉麵，或牛肉米粉加牛肉加凍檸茶是完美組合

多年來都是這個隱藏地庫位置， 如果不是有心人係絕對唔會落嚟食 同埋太多宣傳令這裏出名， 可惜大廈好像又要出售他們都不知做到幾時 食物如當年一樣沒有變懷舊味
價格合理 營養豐富！
可以邊吃邊抽煙 ⋯（這不知道是缺點還是?） …
Well kept secret hidden in the basement. Local cafe with 1960s decor style. Simple comfort food for Hongkongers. If you want to escape from the crowds in TST, here’s your place.
蕃茄湯底確係一絕
Very old school type of cafe. very few left in Hong Kong. Noodles are ok. Nothing spectacular though.

親民懷舊隱蔽冰室
位置比較隱閉的小店，尖沙咀老字號冰室，主打以蕃茄湯為底，再自行選擇配搭的一間小店，蕃茄湯由新鮮蕃茄而成，微酸卻也很鮮甜，最受歡迎的是蕃茄麵，蕃茄咸牛肉麵蕃茄撈蛋麵
另外也有一般三文治出售。
This hidden cafe is about as local Hong Kong as you can get in terms of both the look of the place and the menu. The famous dish is the tomato and egg noodles. When served, you look at it and really do think that it’s reputation for looking like vomit is well earned, yet it does taste quite good. If you are trying to find this place, you need to go to the basement of Champagne Court.
這地方很會成為歷史，快去留住美照吧

Classic old school HK cafe. Hard to find if you are not familiar with this area. It’s in the basement, so look out for the small signs pointing to the direction of the restaurant.
Great classic HK ice milk tea.
Noodles were good, simple with loads of sauce.
仲未結業❓❓❓係奇蹟❗❗❗
偶然有老鼠出巡，而且不只壹次，仲強悍到沿牆邊走動撞埋背項都試過，避都避唔切那種慘況…用膳前後如要去廁所，奉勸千萬不要到它同層地庫的那個簡陋の廁，那是名副其實的殘廁，超反胃，實況就像幾十年前那齣本土電影《省港旗兵》最後槍戰戲碼現埸，而且每次幾乎都會見到不只壹隻曱甴，係幾隻於不同位置出沒，整個廁所場景水滴滴丶水漏漏
，而且唔熟環境例必滴濕身或頭，唉…欲知詳細…要不怕陌生，問問附近的地膽大哥大姐們，他們可能會有更多關於它的激動人心小故事，總之：壹言難盡。。。
推薦番茄撈蛋麵
充滿懷舊風味，室內舒適一點，外面冷巷環境不會太受歡迎。
試了蕃茄牛肉即食麵。 湯底鮮甜，不是外面一般濃郁的蕃茄味。 牛肉也鮮嫩可口，可惜份量有點少，是為美中不足。 凍咖啡 (特配少甜少奶) 亦完全不出色。
去試試吧，這種鬧市中的舊冰室買少見少了!

知道星座冰室有機會隨時執笠，專程黎食多次，當係食個回憶都好，賣相一如既往咁似嘔吐物但味道超哂班，豬骨湯底香濃再加上真材實料既蕃茄蓉，撈埋蛋漿帶少少酸味，湯底鮮甜香濃，每一啖都掛到好多湯汁，揀出前一丁做麵底既仲有麻油香爆發出黎添！雖然每一樣都係勁普通既食材，但味道絕對係得呢度先食到，唔知香檳大廈重建後仲會唔會有星座冰室，有得食好食～

平日午餐時間去少人，可以坐耐啲? 冰室外有人食煙，靚靚的懷舊招牌絕對是打卡點！蕃茄撈麵的味道獨特，喜不喜歡見仁見智，而我覺得略鹹但整體味道不錯? 奶茶尚可接受，茶味比奶味重。 …

地點不好找，要從一個不起眼的樓梯下去；茄牛麵的口味有點死鹹，牛肉有一點點老。

名氣大可惜不幸中伏，絕對冇下次。
叫咗個沙嗲牛麵，以港式餐廳計，呢味可以話係基本中的基本，冇咩可能難食。
結果上來時個麵竟然仲係少少硬的，食落去係康師傅即食牛肉麵味，而且落咗幾包粉嗰隻，超鹹超辣，冇湯底可言，食到我一路出汗；牛肉屬於普通，但麵完全唔合格，非常失望。
淨麵39，連野飲55，坦白講去出面是但一間茶記仲抵，坐得舒服冷氣亦足啲，想食情懷嘅出面亦唔係冇舊式茶記選擇。

太特別了這個地方。點了蕃茄牛肉麵，是我喜歡的味道。湯底不錯，感覺有麻油味，牛肉的牛味都重而且給不少， 態度都ok，好吃到想明天再回去吃！

我哋幾個人都因為自己有野飲
所以店員老女人問我哋，叫唔叫野飲
我哋都唔需要，而每人叫了一份食物
嗰位老女人即刻黑面，再厲眼望我哋
當我哋幾個傾計等食物之間
突然有野勁快系我耳邊及我隻手之間穿過
原來係老女人勁近我個頭擺低碗食物
㖓！㖓！
前後兩次，刻意勁無禮貌咁發洩我地無叫野飲，只叫野食既不滿
之後見我哋食完，又開口叫我哋走
但座位依然疏落
受氣之餘，環境又差
仲要係超級難食
