Great burger and cozy place
It’s definitely one of the best burgers in HK. The burger meat is very juicy although when you work your way into the center, the meat becomes mushy. The cheesy fries is full of cheese sauce unlike other restaurants which you only see cheese on the top. This burger deserves the worldwide accreditation.
Overall: Great casual small burger place. If you like your burgers greasy with a nice side of fries, definitely check it out.
Food:. Big surprise here was the fries were well above average. Good crunch, not too oily and good flavour (and of course a nice touch of salt). Burger was definitely greasy and good flavour. Bun was quite good. If you like pickles, I would definitely ask her for more. Definitely can rival alot of the other famous burger joints in Hong Kong.
Decor: Small, good space with prime window spots. When the windows are open, definitely a great place to chill.
Service:. Staff was kind and gave good advice on the menu.
Value:. Not bad for a good quality burger with fries and a soft drink. Total meal set came to $150+

假日12點黎到，見唔洗排隊即試，點了Double Cheese Burger, 價錢$158，唔包飲品，淨睇價錢好似有啲貴，不過食完你應該會覺得啲食材對得住個價錢。
Burger 帶少少焦脆感，麵包軟綿，一口咬下去肉汁不停流出，非常juicy。
店員服務態度良好，唯收盤速度太快，及沒有叫埋單情況下主動遞上賬單，有些許壓迫感，可能是假日關係吧。
The beef burger is good. However, I had the chicken burger in Basehall under Jardine house today and it sucks and tastes like fish. Sorry.

香港前幾名的漢堡，素食漢堡好好味，即使外帶還是好吃
薯條為幼薯條數量遍多,十分脆口但薯仔感覺偏弱
芝士漢堡:漢堡厚度適中,肉汁十足,包本身沒有因此而變過濕,加上生菜洋蔥,口感豐富,味道不錯
但漢堡Size偏細 對於男生未必足夠
價錢小貴但可以一試
Neat and cozy, Honbo is serving one of the best burgers in town.
Food: For the price, I would not say it is the best burger in Hong Kong. I found that the burger was good but not overly impressive or special.
Staffs: The team is friendly.
Price or Value: for HKD150 per head, it’s not competitive.

The second best Berger in my life. The best is still petty and bun.
Delicious burger
Honbo really stick to their name on making their burger iconic.
The decor and vibe was quaint and chilled.
Food and drinks were above satisfactory.
Although it was an overall above average experience. There was a number of issues toward my experience there.
Service was alright but the floor staff really tries to get you to order within 2 mins after being seated. I totally understand they want to turnover tables but sometimes rushing customers can really put off the experience.
Honbo Burger
With the Honbo burger, their patty was a 2x 2oz patty, which was pretty thin for a regular patty.
The patty was juicy but the proportion for flavour was towards the salty side. This might be due to the time management on the grill and patty being way too thin.
Cheese Fries:
The Cheese Fries had enough American cheese size but the fries were to bland and not having a good crunch when biting into it.
Unlike their sweet potato fries, which is definitely hand cut on the day and breaded, ready to be fried.
Apple Ice Tea:
It does hit the apple flavour but I suggest it making more creamy texture as it was still quite fruity.
Always hear about this burger place, being

Came with my boyfriend, ordered a well done Double Cheese Burger, totally perfect!
The beef patty is extremely juicy, the juices drip when biting into it!
The chillies fries is also a winner. It’s like a taco sauce on top of freshly deep fried fries. The meat is mixed with jalapeños! Melty cheese binds them altogether, keeps digging in until its all gone!
Price is above average, but for the quality of the food, it definitely worths:)
我不吃牛肉，所以顯然我很難找到我喜歡的漢堡店。這裡不可能的漢堡很棒，當我想吃“牛肉”時，Honbo 是我的首選！
Exceptional food and service!
Very good value! The Honbo Burger is simply outstanding. Excellent pickles and sweet potato fries as well.
The Manager Laxmi was so sweet and accommodating. She made such wonderful recommendations based in our dietary needs. Despite the fact that it was crazy busy and they had a waitlist, Laxmi and her team still worked like troopers with smiles on their faces. She also made us some outstanding homemade lemonades.
We will be back mainly for Laxmi’s hospitality. She is an absolute gem!

招牌honbo 有兩塊2oz 用本地牛肉+美國prime grade短肋骨+牛肩肉整嘅patty🐮
用smash style 外層煎得焦香充滿肉汁
個包同個秘製醬汁都十分出色
麵包微焦脆邊 用牛油烘得鬆軟
原來係老闆搵咗20幾間麵粉廠 每日喺香港自家製造 加上酸酸甜甜 secret sauce 每一啖都好滿足🤤
厚切番薯條都係must eat 🍠 外脆內軟 啖啖軟糯番薯加左糖霜係表面但又唔會太油☺️
留意返 呢度係無milkshakes嘅! Grow up – drink a beer 🤪
極其不衛生。廚師在製作漢堡和接觸麵包時沒有戴手套。絕對不能接受！

Dont really get the hype. It’s just an expensive burger without a slide of tomato. Just go to any fast food restaurant and ask for a burger without tomato.
HONBO 2.0 麵包乾身，食得無咁論盡，漢堡充滿牛味，正。
One bite into a Honbo burger is like taking a step back into the past. One bite in and I was overwhelmed by a sudden wave of nostalgia. It had been so long since I had had a good burger and of one that reminded me of In-N-Out in California. Their burgers are really one of the best in Hong Kong and while is on the pricier side, is most definitely worth it. The ingredients making up the burger are especially fresh, from the beef patty, to the lettuce and onions. The cheese sauce on the fries was well seasoned (it wasn’t just melted cheese) and the Apple pie iced tea was surprisingly refreshing and definitely suitable for the autumn season.
The price of a standard burger on average will set you at least HK$100 alone, add some fries to share and a drink, and you’re looking at a HK$200 meal easily. Not quite what some people might have in mind for “fast food”. But a treat once in a while is well deserved. I can’t wait to try the chili fries next time!
Finally visited the acclaimed Honbo.
Location and atmosphere: Situated in the relatively quiet and cozy Sun Street, easily accessible through the staircase from Dominion Garden. The small and neat diner in blue offers normal dining tables, bar tables and a cute little semi outdoor seatings. It is very relaxing to dine with a green view of trees outside.
Staffs: The team is lovely, they respected your boundaries but very reachable if you need any help.
Food: Definitely better than a lot of burger joints in the market but I respectfully would not say it is the best burger in Hong Kong nor my favourite burger place. Personally I think the food are above average but merely fair, not as astonishing as other comments suggested.

四塊2oz牛肉的巨型漢堡扒配溶溶芝士非常吸引。配料有酸瓜，洋葱加上自家醬汁豐富味道。漢堡扒有嚼勁富油脂，咁有份量，食得非常滿足。

My favourite burger place in HK – no tall order! Consistently excellent, with a really satisfying ‘mouthfeel’ in every bite – something a great burger should always deliver. I love getting a double cheeseburger, and love that they’ll swap the buns for lettuce on days I want to go a little lighter. I also love the Apple pie iced tea, which is bright and sweet; my partner prefers the lemonade which is tart and citrusy to the extreme – fantastic! Their cheese sauce deserves a special mention – I could swim in this stuff. It’s glorious. Ladle it over your fries, dip your burger into it… perfection. Overall, definitely worth a visit. Service is prompt and smiley – not pushy, not fake. Prices fair.

Way overrated, and ridiculously overpriced.
Basic shoestring fries for $38 (website says $24), saw it sitting on the counter for 7-10 minutes while burger is being prepared, in which of course it was served barely warm.
Burger was just ok – honestly nothing to write home about. But for what they were charging for it, I expected more.
All in all, 2 burgers, 2 fries, buffalo wings and a soda cost us close to $450. I’ve had better for less. Shame.

Quite disappointing, the beef patties were very salty, I think the burger would’ve been much better if it weren’t for this. Sweet potato fries are just ok. Service was alright.

Cheeseburger is great, but the brioche isn’t that good today. Nice that they also serve impossible burgers here. t particularly like the chili fries.
