Food is good. Authentic Halal Cantonese food but service attitude is not so good. Because we came at 820pm, 40 mins to closing, most meat dishes like crispy chicken and steam fish were out. They served in a monotone reluctant manner. Kept hinting they close at 9pm. Dishes were simple wok fried dishes, came quickly. But difficult to even get extra bowl or utensils even though canteen was empty. We felt like we were coax to quickly eat and leave. Left at 855pm. Real quick. Hopefully service is better during the day. Actual address is Oi Kwan Road off Wan Chai Road, right behind The Charterhouse. Tell the cab is it the mosque there.

The one and only place in Hong Kong that serves halal and amazingly delicious Cantonese cuisine. The dim sum spread is authentic, generous and there’s always a little something for everyone’s tastebuds. The special chilli oil paste is a must try!

The food is super delicious. The prices are affordable, and it’s always crowded. They do not take reservations.. you have to be alert 360 degrees to hunt a table. Order procedure is particular, food is already prepared and comes in batches hot from kitchen, you fill a form in front of an Anti who will give you the food, then you add later if you want more, but you have to queue again. I didn’t like a sign that I saw at the entrance, I post it below, but no one checks to apply it.

So many foooodd range makes you walk to food counter to order many times! The food are tasty and you feel like ordering the whole book. The route to this canteen is quite tricky but not so difficult by google map. Remember that the prayer room is upstair and you have to wudhu’ downstair. But there is lift to assist you.

Nice home-y place that makes you feel welcomed. Food is just above average. As there is a variety of food, come as a group lest you know what you really want to eat. Since it is in a mosque, be respectful, mind your behaviour and attire.
