幾年前那是個好地方。他們無法保持菜餚的質量 – 甚至是招牌菜客家雞。
非常自然,嘗起來像媽媽做的菜,而且價格合理!值得嘗試。
味道唔差,价錢適中
D嘢又唔係好食。一路食,一路俾佢地d伙計催住,一路趕住執我地d碗碟,跟住催住要我地埋單。又唔係全場爆滿,又唔係有客排隊等位,場內還有幾張空枱,一路想趕客快d埋單走人。 咁嘅服務態度,我以後都唔會再幫趁。我亦會反對一切我認識嘅人幫趁灣仔呢間垃圾食肆。

傳統的東江菜,有水準、有特色,價錢合理。舖面較窄,坐在那裏用膳有壓迫感,店內装修古老、簡單,當然可视為醉瓊樓的特色,用以懷舊一番!

Fine dining.
One of a few selling Kwangtung East lake cuisine restaurant still operate in the territory. East Lake cuisine is famous for it salty baked chicken, Braised pork belly with preserved vegetables and tofu dishes. This cuisine used to be quite popular in the 70s and 80s because they charged cheap when people didn’t earn much. At the height of its popularity, there were scores of restaurants bearing this same name scattered in all areas. But as people gets richer and earned more, East Lake cuisine slowly being faded out to give ways to better Chinese cuisines.
給4星是因為餐廳門口賣的甜品。而這與店內出售的食品無關。
I had decided on some ham-egg rice (火腿煎蛋飯)for $50, but after got seated the price suddenly went up to $72 because “dinner-time”, but then it was lowered back to $65 as soon as the staff heard me speaking Chinese. I should’ve left at this point…
The quality of the ham-egg rice was revolting by the way: Around 3 eggs, 4 small slices of probably SPAM ham and half a kilogram of rice. For $65. (Some wulong tea was provided for free though.) In the nearby food market you can two, much more nicely prepared meals for this price.

隻雞幾好食。個湯就比較飄忽一時好好飲一時好淡。
環境一般,不過餸菜好味道,唔太咸,而且價錢合理。
時常行經這街道,沒有留意有這間酒樓,今天決定到這裡吃午飯,點了個八珍炒麵,隔離食客點了梅菜扣肉飯,也是我喜歡吃的,當然留意扣肉和梅菜,發覺同街市熟食檔有很大分别。炒麵不油膩,也不太乾脆,芡汁也剛好,大多數食客會點雞飯或蒸鯇魚飯,喜歡這裡有茶喝,服務也很親切。
尚存的香港當年旺盛的客家名菜館。
a local and authentic restaurant serving dishes of “huk ka客家” (literally means someone from other provinces and a guest to the place). Hence, it is not Cantonese style. The must try is salt baked chicken. I would recommend deep fried shrimp balls and steamed pork in preserved vegetables(梅菜扣肉). Steamed fish ok and do not expect much. Setting and style of service is very basic, have a feel of average HK restaurant. Price per person, $100 to $150
往這處只因長途是問題!打听下,原來大廚曾任職馬會!怪不得每樣菜亦甚有水準!10款菜15人吃,平均每位270圓。並且其中包含有250元是貼士。這消費合理。

這家客家餐廳是一家人的最愛。它始終供應美味的超值 HomeStyle 菜餚。我直接從這家餐廳點了外賣帶回家。令人遺憾的是,Covered 的情況讓許多像這家這樣的老式好餐館陷入困境。我會嘗試經常從這個地方訂購以保持它的運行。
老字號
是一家老牌酒家,以鹽焗雞出名。今次點了半隻鹽焗雞,味道不過不失,無特別驚喜。琵琶豆腐份量比預期中大很多,每塊豆腐都很大,新鮮煎炸,進食時要小心燙口。員工招呼有道,不會因為我們入座時間接近結束營業時間而有所不耐煩,值得一讚。
202009 扣剩一粒星只因扣肉,咁差都上枱,極度失望。
