Delicious.
Went around wanchai and picked pineapple buns, char sui buns and egg tarts from ABC, Pak see kut and from happy cake.
Apart from the pineapple bun (I preferred Pat See Kut), Happy cake shop’s items were so yummy. The char sui bun was really well filled and the bun was perfect. A must try. The egg tart was outstanding (personal preference the classic one than the cookie base one although very nice).
Tried also from them the century egg one, the lotus and egg yolk one, the red bean bun and the lotus one, all very nice. Do go and try everything it’s very yummy and cheap. Cash only for the moment. No English description so hoping that google translate did a good job!!

Happy Bakery was a bakery with a long history, and they now reopened in this new location.
They offer a wide range of bread and cake, although nothing new, but everything is decent and the price is reasonable in this area.
The staff is friendly and the shop is clean, great place for both bread or cake
舊店重開,食的就是人情味。
奶油筒新鮮出爐,即食鬆脆到無朋友。
但願人龍不斷,長做長有。
去開灣仔當然要試下新重開

之前舊鋪我未食過,聽聞最出名奶油桶,之後買咗兩個返屋企試下,食後超heavy,感覺有好重豬油味,喺舊式麵包嘅奶油~
可能唔係太啱我口味,所以試過一次就夠了~ …
新店品質一樣,好味。
與最初的設置非常不同……就像現在的任何其他麵包店一樣。它實際上更加擁擠和混亂。

their taro mochi egg tart is the best!!!
This walnut cake is so delicious. It sells as a block. I cut into 6 parts. It’s not sweet and the walnut is so fresh. Shop is so busy during lunch time. Fresh bakes constantly comes out from the kitchen. Price is slightly more expensive than local bakery.

奶油筒是食的不必再細介紹,2年前是$9,今日$11但水準仍然超班! 必食是選。
這個$32朱古力蛋糕又是誠意之作。意料之外,看似平凡的一個pound cake,味道恰到好處,不會太軟也不太硬軟硬適中,很有份量和口感,最愛這味道不太甜。
最後值得一讚的是麻糬包是我吃過的no.1之作。什麼bonbon你們還是不必去失望了。脆而不硬,冷了仍然很堅固唔會塔下或凹咗,這出色之作,坊間沒有一間能比!
小心…這裡的工作人員會向您收取雙倍費用,因為他們不知道如何操作收銀機…可怕的經歷,他們大喊大叫並拒絕以體面的語氣說話…如果您有任何問題,請不要去那裡自尊!

BEST PINEAPPLE BUN! it was warm, soft, chewy but with a crunchy layer on top, and perfectly sweet. the egg tart was also good.
New bakery shop with old name, a few paces from the old place.
Seems like most other ones now.
Doesn’t sell the flossy pork rolls that the old namesake used have.

A local Chinese bakery relocation here recently, some products are ok such as pineapple bum, egg tart, cream roll but I do love the old shop which just few blocks away (closed).
