very staff with delicious tarts
Hilarious wraps that are Chinese pretending to be Western.
I am not a fan of King Bakery but they have now popped up at LTA.
LTA used to be classy but business is probably bad these days so they have to offer brands that are affordable.
As well as egg tarts they had Japanese oden, Hong Kong snacks and even Western wraps because this is a concept store.
I was contemplating on whether to get the tea or wrap but in the end I got the wrap as the other branches don’t have it.
There were three wraps to choose from: Thai pork neck, Lemongrass chicken and Mushroom and Basil.
Got the mushroom and basil because I didn’t fancy the other two.
According to the label, the wrap is made by [LIGHE FOOD] or are they trying to label it as [LIGHT FOOD], who knows.
As for the tastes, the wrap was good but the filling was terrible.
It was sweet coleslaw with Chinese shitaake mushrooms and basil, the combination of it all just tasted horrible.
Bread is better than the tarts
Is quite pricey for egg tarts with ordinary taste and texture. Place is clean, the staffs are friendly. A bit far from MTR station but can get there with bus or minibus.
My family went to King Bakery on Lee Tung Avenue, and bought some original puff pastry egg tarts home. The egg tart was delicious, and the shell was very light; I enjoyed it very much.
I’ve decided to go today and see what else they got, and to my surprise, there are also egg white tart, coconut tart, chicken pie, and even cha siu pie aka BBQ pork.
You can also get tea leaf infused eggs, and Japanese-styled oden bowls (with or without udon). The oden was alright; I think next time I will try it with udon because the soup was pretty tasty.
The shop also opens 7:30am in the morning, I’m definitely heading back tomorrow to get some more baked goods!
有點節日氛圍。
Was walking around lee tung street and stumbled upon this tart shop! They have a wideeee variety of tarts, tried their signature cheese tart, and milk tart. Both were yummy! The cream is warm and oozing, and you can really taste the strong taste of milk/cheese. Good to pop by if you’re in the area! 😁 love the neon lights and decoration of the place 👍

Delicious egg tarts with a beautifully crispy crust. Not too oily and the egg custard is very smooth. On the pricier side but considering it’s quality these tarts are worth it. Staff are attentive and friendly.
Wow! Filling is very good and crust is superb.
