Nice place for coffee and tea! The pistachio croissant is a nice try! The Tiramisu is a large portion one which could be shared by 3-4. Overall nice and I will come back!

We chose this Italian restaurant Da Filippo Trattoria for celebrating my friend’s birthday. I like the spacious environment and lively atmosphere here.
Classic meatballs with tomato sauce, which is made in beef and cooked well and juicy. Immersed in rich tomato sauce, mixed with fried onions and slightly spicy flavor. It is appetizing.
Minestrone soup made in mixed vegetables. I like the crunchy broccoli most which wasn’t overcooked. The tomato soup base has a thick consistency and sweet and sour taste.
Parma ham, a generous portion! Not too salty and served with two slices of toast. It is really appetizing. On the toast, there are special coriander spread and tomato spread. I personally like the coriander one more which is rare and has an appealing herbs aroma.
Squid Ink Spaghetti with Caviar and Red Shrimp Tartare is my favorite dish this evening. The spaghetti was covered with squid ink sauce and strong aroma of olive oil. The red prawns are particularly great! Fresh and sweet which balances well with the salty caviar.
4 Cheeses Pizza, which are Gorgonzola, Mozzarella, Parmesan and Smoked Scamorza. Smelled super nice! The taste of Gorgonzola cheese stands out most, which is like a bit of mushroom flavor. The flour they used is Petra 3, imported from Italy. It gives the pizza a texture of soft and al dente. Yum!
BBQ pork ribs, the pork ribs are grilled and then covered in tasty bbq sauce. It has a nice strong charcoal grill flavor and matches perfectly with the refreshing salad with mango sauce.
Dessert Eggnog eclair with saffron glaze, the presentation is very beautiful! The upper layer of cream is sweeter but the texture is so smooth. The lower layer custard with a nice fragrance. Which is spread on the puff pastry to give an extra soft and smooth texture.
For drinks, the cocktails here are very special. My friend ordered Mango Bloody Caesar, which tastes tangy. In addition to tomato and lemon flavors, it is also a bit spicy. It turned out to be Tabasco! It’s the first time I tried spicy cocktails!
The Old Fashioned I ordered is actually a cocktail bitter based on bourbon, mixed with angostura bitter and the fruity aroma of orange bitter. Although they are mixed with those bitters, it tastes rather refreshing.
We all very satisfied with the food and drinks, specially the cocktails. We had a happy birthday night.
Tonight, my boyfriend and I had dinner together. We have ordered several dishes.

Pizza crust is made of sourdough with the toppings of Mozzarella, Salami, Parma Ham, Finocchiona, Pancetta and Hot Salami. The combination of them is amazing.
Class French Steak
It served with potato mash which is very delish and the steak is nice too.
Semifreddo Cappuccino
This is my first time to have Semifreddo. It is yummy and presents in a pretty way.
Purple Rain (Mocktail) tastes like lemon coconut water which is very fresh.
Kronenbourg 1664 (Beer).

My hubby and I had a great meal tonight! Our pizza are with Parma ham salami .Mozzarella so wonderful. The bases were thin and crispy, and the toppings were so flavoursome and fresh.,We ordered Beef ? tartar,Lobster Bisque Carbonara,Meat Lovers Pizza ?.Hanger Steak ?,Semifreddo ,the Hanger steak and meat lovers pizza ,is one of the best I had so far. And I really enjoyed the beef tartar especially with the extra condiments poured on the side.We were seated at a fabulous table can enjoy open kitchen,I would like to mention that every single staff that who came to our table was lovely! Even with mask, still I can see they are smiling and eye contacting Big thank you to service team.

– Classic Lobster Tagliatelle 經典龍蝦扁意粉 ($288) – 汁係好食. 但只會叫一次, no next time! 因為太貴, 但份量好少
– Meat Lovers 情人眼裡出肉肉 (Pizza) ($198) – 批底好食, 茄醬都好食, 夾住Pancetta 更好食, 呢個highly recommended
– Seafood Risotto with Cuttlefish Ink 海鮮墨汁燉飯 ($228) – 比起意粉, 佢個汁同味都好食, 值得一試
– Fresh Oyster 海洋滋味冰鎮生蠔盤 ($298) – 我覺得貴, 可能我食過更好, 所以呢個蠔味唔係好濃
– Tiramisu 千層提拉米蘇杯 ($68) – 無4個人share, 可以不叫, 真係太heavy 同好膩呀!!!
– Panna Cotta Strawberry Topping 士多啤梨意式奶凍 ($68) – 呢個好食. 唔甜, 個奶凍好香

Da Filippo Trattoria – It is what I want for!
It was a great experience and food was very nice. First of all, the decoration was nice. The seats and table we felt cozy.
We had 7 courses tonight. All were excellent.
Chicken Wings – HKD88 – It was fried and was so crispy. It was sauced with Tabasco with little bit spicy.
Beans soup – HKD68 – It was a traditional Italian soup with pasta. Honestly, it wasn’t bad
Parma Ham -HKD128 – It was little bit salty for me. However, my girlfriend she loved it so much. She was a fan of Parma Ham and she recognized it !
Ink Spahetti with Caviar – HKD328 – it was fantastic. The food was ordered to cook. Therefore, it was warm and the Caviar was so fresh! Sea food Pizza – HKD198 – As you can see the picture, the pizza is a size that can served 4 people indeed. And you should find out that the pizza was full of ingredients. I can tell you the pie was so crispy!! Very delicious!
Pork Ribs – HKD298 – At this moment, we were filled enough. However, it can stopped the magic of this restaurant. The pork rib was perfect. Easy to cut and was favourable.
We also ordered two mocktails. I am not a fan of it, so I do not elaborate more here. But in fact, it has its signature and you should get one glass!
All in all, I spent around HKD1500 for the dinner. It was a very nice dinner and food was very excellent. And the restaurant manager was so polite.
Next time when I come back again, we should cut 2 courses off. It was a bit much for us tonight. But it was pleasant!

fantastic meal
Since the social gathering policy has been slightly relieved, restaurants start to regain the crowdedness they used to have and I really enjoy dining in a restaurant with customers’ laughter around. In this restaurant, customers can see busy chefs preparing food in the open kitchen and dessert preparation room. This is the kind of vibrant atmosphere that I really miss since the pandemic and I finally find it here again.
Things won’t work without some alcohol. We ordered a glass of sparkling wine ($88) and the “Old Fashioned” cocktail ($108). The cocktail had a very refreshing taste with a bit of sourness and bitterness. I liked it as an aperitif. To complement the drinks, we had crispy octopus ($168). I was expecting deep-fried octopus cubes but I was amazed that it was actually served as the whole tentacle that was slightly fried. The octopus was super tender with slight crispy skin. Soup was classic French onion soup with ordinary taste.
The pizza here is freshly handmade so must try. Our seafood pizza ($198) was served real hot that we had to wait for a while before we could hold one slice up with bare hands. This pizza was very juicy and the juice came from the clams and mussels so it’s not just the tomato taste but truly the seafood taste was there in the pizza. The pizza crust was thin and chewy.
All Day Lobster ($238) was a big big plate. Besides the usual all-day-breakfast ingredients like croissant, sausages, bacons, eggs and so, the spirit of this plate was the half lobster. It was definitely not the frozen-to-tough-and-tasteless kind. The lobster meat was tender and sweet.
Wild mushroom risotto ($168) was less appealing though. It looked a bit flat and the risotto would taste better if it was harder. The mushroom taste and creaminess were there.
I like the dessert – semifreddo cappuccino ($68). As its name implied, it was “half cold”. The cappuccino taste was outstanding. It was not heavy at all. A pretty good one.
Food is fine. But maybe the restaurant is a bit new, there was a problem on ordering system.

Definitely not traditional Italian food. I was very excited to eat here. Even willing to wait 40 min for a table. But, I’m sorry to say, the experience was very disappointing.
Service: Dining with a party of 2, we had to ask about 3 times to get water (waited about 20 minutes after being seated for the water to arrive). When we did have the servers attention (which was very difficult to get) she was very friendly and seemed to know the menu well. Most of the staff seemed too busy running around to actually provide any service to our table. Our drinks (2 glasses of wine) arrived quickly though.
Food: started with a Red Cabbage Prawn salad that arrived at a reasonable time and tasted fine. The Baked Conchiglie was out of stock so I opted for the Gnocchi instead. This arrived very quickly before we had much of a chance to eat the appetizer. The second main course, Spaghetti Algio Olio (very liquidy and tasteless), arrived about 20 minutes after the Gnocchi. So by that time, the Gnocchi was cold. Further, the Gnocchi was completely over cooked (seemed it was cooked previously then re-cooked again based on the speed at which it arrived) it was so soft I did not even need to chew it.
I likely will not return to dine here. Maybe I will give it another try in a few months to see if there is any improvement?

Dinner at this restaurant after shopping at tsim sha tsui. Food were tasty and environment was so nice. Did enjoy a great night here.
The starters and soup we had is veggie soup. It was full of ingredient and can taste the freshness brought by ingredient. For the two starters, the meatball was tasty. They were very tendered and appropriately favoured. Parlma ham was good as it was not too salty.
For the main dishes, the spaghetti was in al dente. It also matched so well with the squid sauce. All the dishes wre in good portion and sufficient ingredient. Especially for the pizza, it was so big and whole pizza were topped with seafood! Made us felt so satisfied! The chicken was impressive. It was very juciy and tender and the sauce matched perfectly with mushrooms on side dish. A must try item !
Togother with the two glasses of wine, this restaurant gave us a chill and enjoyable night. Recommend to you all!

終於等到甜品啦!其實已經好飽,不過仲食得落甜品? 個杯比我想像中大,兩個人share啱啱好!透過透明杯杯身可以見到每層layer,咖啡味濃郁無酒香,奶味亦十足好香濃,層次豐富!為呢餐完美作結!
我都好驚訝我同朋友可以食到咁多嘢,唔覺唔覺叫咗咁多,真係飽到上心口? 呢度嘅菜式分量都幾多同大份,可能因爲意大利人都好鍾意開心share,會同朋友或家人分享美食。所以應該叫多幾個人一齊過嚟食,希望疫情快啲完啦?

雖然話係頭盤,但份量一啲都唔少,同平時食到嘅有少少唔同,吞拿魚同牛油果係切粒上,口感比起平時更加豐富,但係略嫌單吃吞拿魚調味鹹咗少少,要配埋牛油果一齊食。
龍蝦濃湯
龍蝦湯嘅顏色偏深色,飲到龍蝦嘅鮮味,亦帶上蕃茄味道。
肉醬扁意粉
意粉比較厚身,所以食落質感比較實在,而且掛汁亦強,份量可以for share.
Hanger Steak
如果佢食西餐點可以唔食扒,成日食開肉眼同埋西冷,今次轉下啲脂肪冇咁重既牛腹扒,油份無咁重,但肉味相對濃郁。

Really disappointed. Dinner my friend and I had last night was tasteless calamari with weird sauce, baked oysters with nearly no cheese, terribly sweet lobster pasta and a cup of orange iced tea which did not taste like orange nor tea, totally not worth what we were charged. Will not return ever again.
Ordered the spaghetti aglio e olio and the pizza. The pasta was terrible, oily and lacking in any flavour or seasoning. The pizza was fine although not at good as Motorino.
Price is a little bit expensive. But the taste is extremely good.
Had lunch here at this newly opened restaurant with my gf. We tried their tagliatelle bolognaise and pizza. The pasta was freshly made and had the perfect texture and it’s able to absorb all the deliciousness of the bolognaise sauce. Pizza was so-so. One thing that can be improved is that they could use preheated plates as our pasta has gotten a bit cold quickly. I would also recommend their semifreddo.
A cosy Italian restaurant with a causal diner vibe. A good place to meet with friends but the environment does get pretty noisy with a full house.
Food was just alright, though everything was freshly made so all dishes was nice and hot.
We had the truffle fries it was fragrant but nothing special. Beef tartare was good worth trying. Lobster tagliatelle tasted good but the pasta was slightly overcooked and not al dente. Pizza dough was nice and this pizza has a great balance of value. Tiramisu is good, size it pretty big so best to share.

There are lots of fresh toppings on the warm and chewy pizza. The clams, mussels and squid can add a wonderful bit brine to your pizza. The shrimps are bouncy.

This classic Italian dish is very nice. It’s is very sticky, creamy and with good smell. Have to finish it when it is served hot.

This dish looked so attractive that we can’t stop taking pictures of it. The lobster is firm and fresh, yet smooth and soft to bite. The sides are tasty too. The hash browns are crispy on the outside. I also like the sausage and eggs.

It’s creamy and not too sweet, with bites of crunchy chocolates ? I like it a lot especially in this hot weather

I work nearby so I thought giving this new restaurant a try during lunch break.
Food and drinks at this restaurant are at the medium-high price range.
I was warmly welcomed and then asked if I had a reservation which I didn’t. Luckily they still had some tables available. So far so good.
I was handed the menu, the waiter left. Less than 30 seconds later the same waiter returned, asking me what I’d like to order. Meanwhile I was still looking through the menu. I said I needed a minute. Kindly enough I got 2 minutes before the waiter returned to take my order.
I decided to go with the Gnocchetti, picture and description looked promising.
What the chef prepared was a semi thick soup with gnocchi. The sauce/soup was overpowering, I was hardly able to taste the gnocchi. There was some crunch from
the nuts but again, I was hardly able to taste anything but the sauce… In Italy this dish would have been considered as offensive.
Lunchbreak is short so I didnt have time to go to another restaurant or change my order.
When paying, I was asked how the food was. I told them about my experience. My feedback was appreciated and they told me they would look into it and that they had other dishes to try.
Eventually I was asked if I would return – I dont think so.

A well marinated appetizer has given us appetite. Both avocado and tuna are creamy and smooth. Pickled onions provide vinegary and Savory flavor
Lobster Bisque $88
Creamy & Velvety lobster bisque has fulfilled all of my comfort food cravings. The lobster meat hidden into the soup gets my salivating. What a gorgeous and pleasant soup this is.
Classic tagliatelle Bolognese $168
Simply is the best. A divine combination of home-made tagliatelle and fresh Bolognese sauce really taste superb to most of the trattoria in Hong Kong. The al-dente pasta with heavenly wheat-like taste absorb lots of tomato & beef sauces makes it more outstanding.
flat bread forcaccia $178
Among 9 flavors, we chose flat bread forcaccia because we think it’s the most balanced flavor. Parma ham is often nutty and rich, while adding rocket salad and cherry tomatoes onto Sourdough pizza can be more appetizing.
Classic French Steak $298
Tenderloin contains tender texture because of less connective tissue, as a perfect match to the creamy mash potato. The full-bodied meat sauce is worth mentioning because it undoubtedly assembles the dish to be more dynamic.
Tiramisu $68
With whipping cream, crashed ladyfingers, mascarpone cheese, espresso, cocoa, the traditional 6-layer dessert completely wrap up the meal. Yet, personally I recommend they more espresso powder can be added to make it less treacly.
Hunter of the Alps $108
A combination of red wine and a range of spirits alcohol. Surprisingly, it is not as intense as listed. However, the bitter taste can provide an equilibrium to the food above.
Aperol Spritz $88
A classic cocktail with orange bitters and sparkling wine. Easily to become my favorite drink because of the mildly fruity flavor.
The registration system (hand written on a steno pad) at the reception MUST be improved. I “walked in” and gave details around 1930. Around 30 mins later I spoke to a staff member to follow up, but only to find that the row with my details got cancelled – obviously by accident. I also saw people who came after me get their table because they followed up thrice more. I wasn’t impressed.
Nope, it doesn’t have classic /traditional carbonara, the carbonara was full of cream, it was supposed to have more egg source and different kind of cheese.
For the meat lovers pizza, the chef seems just lack of passion in food. The pizza base was not crispy, it was soft like bread in soup. Those different kind of ham were cold on the pizza. I couldn’t understand how it was recommended.
I was really disappointed. The price point was too high for these kind of “fastfood”.
I will not go again, sorry?

意粉叫咗紅蝦他他魚子醬墨汁意粉,Pizza就叫咗海鮮盛宴,我覺得兩樣嘢食味道都唔錯,而且份量都幾多。
跟住再叫多個惹味BBQ醬燒豬肋骨,都真係幾惹味?如果你覺得食肉食到有啲膩嘅時候,就可以食啲沙律減啲油膩感。
最後食多個Tiramisu作為晚餐嘅總結,真係好滿足!我覺得佢嘅Tiramisu整得幾靚,忍唔住影多左幾張相??
呢度嘅服務態度好好,而且嘢食都上得算幾快,食完一樣先會再上下一樣,可以慢慢食??
Very good ambiance and service. Seats are spacious. Pizza is one of the best I’ve had on Kowloon side. Highly recommend for those craving for a good pizza!

雞翼比想像中大份,不算很辣,但肉不夠滑。
雞肉凱撒沙律很大份,但偏咸,吃了一半已經快吃不下,要喝很多水。

The lasagne tastes good but the layers of pasta are too soft, so there’s no texture of lasagne. The anchovy pizza’s base is soft by the time it reaches our table, but overall delicious despite it. The serving of the tiramisu is huge, but instead of the finger biscuits they used sponge cake. Pretty disappointing since I couldn’t taste espresso or liquor in it at all, and it lacked the texture of the biscuits. French onion soup is ok
The restaurant has comfortable seating and it was a decent meal, however the food can be improved. Too pricey for what it is
It’s been a long time for no dining in Harbour City. We found this western cuisine so attractive and we finally got in.
Lobster Soup
The soup was satisfied for two people to share. There were quite portions of lobster meat inside.
Beef Tartare
This was perfect with different seasoning like onions, cheese etc.. Texture of the raw beef was so soft after mixing with the egg yolk.
Carbonara
Classic pasta choice ever. The pasta was so creamy. I was so surprised by the bacon used, unlike the normal bacon slices, it wast so salty at all.
Flat Bread Pizza
The ingredients included the Parma ham, mozzarella, rocket leafs, cherry tomatoes. The pizza dough was crispy, and matched with all the toppings.
The grilled hanger steak
We ordered the medium rare, and the beef was perfectly cooked. Ate with the salad and the peppers, the taste of beef was more fresher.
Tiramisu
Contained in a cup, the layers of tiramisu was clearly seen. The cream cheese tasted so good and the coffee aroma was unforgettable.
We have a full dinner tonight. Let’s start form appetiser and soup. Crispy Octopus – perfectly grilled octopus is tender, succulent, with a golden crispy outside and a slightly smoky flavor. The portion is generous. This is one seafood recipe I will want to eat over and over again. Classic French onion soup – you can smell a smoky flavour when the soup is served on table, it is come form the caramelized onions. It is finished off with a piece of bread covered with cheese floating on top. Outstanding taste and presentation.
Let’s move on to pasta.The restaurant makes fresh pasta every day. Petra 7220 flour, which is 00 flour, is used. This flour has high water absorption and has a wheat aroma. Recommend to try the classic spaghetti agile olio. Aglio e Olio literally means olive oil and garlic in Italian. It is a traditional pasta recipe from Naples. This dish is simply made by sliced garlic in olive oil, which made us focus on the spaghetti and be the star. The spaghetti has a high juice-hanging power, with little spicy come form parsley, perfectly balanced with the garlic favour.It is my all time favorite.
We ordered a vegetarian pizza – we are appreciate that the restaurant do have many option for vegetarian. Pizza uses another flour-Petra 3 stone ground flour imported from Italy. It is only a flour that is specially used for pizza, and the dough has high stability and elastic gluten. They ground Petra 3 stone flour, add water, apple peel, honey and sugar, etc. to seed them and leave it for 24 to 48 hours, and then to bake. It is really so much effort to do but for the authentic taste, it is always necessary to try. Don’t miss out the pizza here.
“All day lobster” is the most eye-catching one. Presentation is stunning and impressive. We all have our camera ready! Lobster is freshly cooked in beautiful bright red.Lobster’s flavour is uniquely mild, soft and tender with all the richness in texture. “All day lobster” served together with salad, salmon, hash brown , fired tomatoes and sausages which made it a really deluxe cuisine.If you love lobster thus an all day breakfast lover, it is the item you must try.
Great pizza and pasta, all freshly made in house. Service was ok, can be more attentive and welcoming. Atmosphere is quite nice with a nice open kitchen.
