Hi, I’m long time expat in Japan. I was brought to Kichi by Japanese friends.
The place is very faithful to the proper Japanese izakaya style. No detail was missed; the food presentation, the menu, the food quality, the oshibori, you name it… and it shows, the staff is mostly Japanese, and so are the customers.
The prices are average reasonable Tokyo prices.
I’ll go again.
Lunch: my top 2 are sashimi set and curry udon

Had one of the worst experiences I had in many years which made me decide I will never visit this restaurant myself. Yes, the WORST experience I had in many years…
In general, this restaurant was not a bad choice, but one bad experience completely changed my mind. There are still several better choices of Japanese restaurants in TST area and there is no reason to stick to this one.
