疫情之下食過就當去左日本一轉
Opted for the 10-course JIKON menu at $1480 p.p. – the food was alright and matched our expectations, but service was at the very least inexperienced, and at times even straight out horrible. Some notable mishaps include: –
1. The team mistakenly confused another table’s dietary restrictions as ours.
2. The team would serve the next dish when it’s very obvious that we were far from finishing the current one. Moreover, if a certain dish contains more than 1 “component”, rather than serving everything together, their adopted practice is to place one ingredient on the table, then disappear for 10 minutes before another ingredient’s served – leaving us quite befuddled.
3. Introductions of the dishes were provided only occasionally, and more often than not it seemed to us that the team did not really know much about what they’re serving.
4. A minor point – for one course, guests had to pick between 3 options for a main. It was our first time dining at restaurants at this price level with the team failing to mark down the guests’ choices. Rather, the waiter went “which of you ordered noodles?” etc. when serving the mains. While not a grossly fatal mistake, I would expect this sort of service at a cha chaan teng, not at a restaurant where the bill adds up to $3.2k for two.
Overall, I do not think the hefty price tag is justified.
We really enjoyed this place, although it is new and so some teething issues remain.
The food was good and worthy a repeat visit. It may not be a good as if you are actually in Japan but it was an enjoyable meal experience. Apparently this is a sister restaurant of a 1-Michelin star japanese restaurant in the same building.
We had the 10 course HKD 1,488 meal, which contain both great and okay dishes, and the tea rice at the end disappointing, too salty and did not taste like proper tea itself (more like broth) – but did not detract from the fact would would come again.
A straightforward, casual and tasty yakiniku option that we will consider returning.

薄切和牛,快燒至半熟卷起,不用加醬汁,食到牛味?;
厚切牛舌,放入口才發現是牛舌,嫩滑又爽口,口感一流??;
牛柳,外層燒熟,後才切片,裡面是半生的,非常軟腍嫩滑,可加少許鹽點綴;
4.特選醬燒和牛配海膽熱狗
用紫菜包住薄切和牛、配上海膽、米飯、紫蘇葉,但紫蘇葉的味卻蓋過了海膽的鮮味;

6.醬燒夏多布里昂及和牛西冷配柚子醋
這個部位的牛,較多肥;
西冷遇上柚子醋,又一新口味?

套餐唯一要選擇的,建議選冷素麵,因為都食了很多肉,已經很飽,可平衡一下

“Tominokoji Yamagishi” was first opened in Kyoto in 2015. After a few years, in 2019, they opened their first overseas restaurant “Tominokoji Yamagishi Hong Kong” in K11 MUSEA mall. We booked a week in advance. The environment was really decent and staffs were super friendly too.
We ordered two lunch sets and added on Beef Tongue (HK$90) and Yamagishi style Uniku Dog (HK$290). All the lunch set came with salad/rice/soup/side dishes/dessert. We could grill our own meat. It tasted soooo niceee and it was funnn! All the wagyu beef melted in our mouth? Remember order the beef tongue too!
Will we revisit this restaurant? Definitely YESSS!☑️

Very high quality Japanese beef with reasonable prices, good service. Worth a visit during both lunch or dinner.
Very unprofessional staff and un-justified price tag ($1500 per person for the ten-course meal)
– all the waitresses that were handling food did not tie their hair up and many of them even had gel manicures. This raises significant hygiene concerns.
– the waitress that served our table had no idea what we ordered for the main so staff had to basically pass by us three times, each with a different dish to check which one we ordered.
– side dishes were served across messy time intervals. E.g. as I was eating the third dish, the side of the second dish would arrive.
– staff only gave introductions or instructions for some of the dishes. I asked her about the ingredients for some of them and she wasn’t able to answer any of the questions.
All in all I don’t understand how this restaurant dares to charge Michelin one-star price range ??♀️??♀️
The table is tiny, not enough table space. You get a tray of appetizer soup salad and rice PLUS a plate of raw meat. The table is basically only enough for the 4 trays. The plates of raw meats or whatever else not on the tray would be all over the table and super crowded. And waiters would be always trying to take this and that away due to the lack of space and it is quite annoying.
Not a pleasant experience at all!
Best beef I’ve ever had… the meal was about $1500 (plus 68 dollars with one drink) per person but I would 10/10 recommended. Also the service was amazing, everyone was nice and friendly!!
比較之下覺得$480個set好食啲,啲和牛係大塊好多同塊油花靚啲。$320就普通啦當食個燒肉set lunch都可以。
我果日去外面氣溫22/23度左右,但燒肉入面室內近住個爐熱度甚高,佢哋無個抽氣/油煙囪,其實燒住食都幾熱。不過油煙味都唔算大嘅,但真係好熱。

Quality Japanese and Australian Wagyu meat. Food was perfectly seasoned.
The spicy minced beef with tofu, beef tartare on toasts and bibimbap were all impeccable. Heavily staffed. Great view, nice ambience and seatings. Drinks were good too.

可以用眼睛和食物來欣賞的裝飾品。一道菜當然很好吃,肉也很好吃! !甜點的量也不錯☆推薦在特別的日子裡享用小餐♪

與不能預約的西麻布、白金等名店相比,性價比應該還不錯吧。
如果你想享受華麗的氣氛,那就是香港烤肉。
點心從早上到中午是正確的。
晚餐,港式餐廳很多,但說到最佳選擇,感覺不錯的餐廳卻寥寥無幾。
預約。有兩班,從下午6點到晚上8點,所以我去了早一點的。
我們兩個人吃了大概是套餐的兩倍,喝了兩杯黑皮諾,價格大概是HK$2000。
既然是名店,我覺得預約是對的。
在香港的餐廳,如果你在預訂時告訴我們你的情況,他們會照顧你,所以一定要在你的周年紀念日來香港(笑)。
最近。日本人很少的香港有點寂寞。
