Amazing presentation and flavors. Slightly impersonal service. Not cheap but reasonable for fine dining in HK.

Chef Oliver 將日本食材與法式烹調手法結合,誰會想到香煎鵝肝和松茸麵豉高湯可以如何合襯;日本馬糞海膽燉蛋表面淋上加入咖哩香料的花椰菜泥,令燉蛋個性鮮明而又不會搶去海膽的鮮味;鹿兒島和牛被放在熱到冒煙的石板上,食客可以自行控制牛肉的熟度,同時保持理想溫度,值得一吃。

Foods are delicious. Good service and comfortable environment.
A good place to have a nice dinner with a relaxing atmosphere. Exceptional service and good food. Lobster and shrimp in the seafood platter were fresh and tasty, rest of the platter were ok. Porkchop was slow cooked and grilled which was excellent. Mac & cheese was dry and not cheesy enough.

Quite an impressive dinner. We had Japanese style set dinner for a small birthday party, dishes are impressively good plus the wine pairing, wine selections are already good and worth every penny we paid

From my experience as a club member there, I can say most of the staff there are friendly and professional. But, a few expatriate waiter/waitress are lacking of coutesy and they have an indifferent and sometimes arrogant attitude.
Nice place to chill and chit chat. Food was good, now okay. The current menu is not as attractive as before.
I’m going more often to the Chinese restaurant of the same building instead. Standard of food and services are well kept there.

用來搽麵包嘅醬好有驚喜,因為個醬而食晒籃麵包都係第一次。牛肉他他係signature, 亦真心好味!牛肝湯,黑安格斯牛,豬都好味,最後個甜品焗芝士配松露雪糕一樣有驚喜!highly recommend!
The foie gras was a bit rubbery. Was supposed to have escargots in it but we didn’t taste it through out the whole dish. Portions are quite tiny. However, we liked the pork done two ways, especially the braised pork. Good service.

I booked the 4 hands dinner on 16th Jan 2020 to celebrate the new year with my girlfriend.
Normal food, ridiculous arrangement.
The pre-dinner communication mentioned 6:30 to 10:00 pm – so we arrived at 1830. The first bite started at 18:50 which we thought the food took time to prepare yet there were only 4 tables of customers. The waiting time then kept increasing to the extent that we felt we never had the previous course when the next came. Did not quite expect that the serving time per dish can range from 15 to 30 minutes. And the most puzzling thing was there was another table arrived at 1930, but at the time of 2135 they could have the same course as we were having. I just simply don’t understand whether this is an event where we expect all tables to be served at once; or each table is served individually (where the next table should not be able to catch up the course?).
I had another fine dining experience overseas in Thailand and the whole arrangement was perfect – it seems like that set a wrong expectation to me for fine dining as what I just experienced with Whisk simply blew my mind.
Will never recommend any friends to try any special dinner menu with Whisk definitely. I guess they need more than 4 hands to make this work to be very rude…, sadly.
Very good set menu. Particularly liked the creme brulee, heated camembert and the small sandwich by the soup.

This is a nice elegant restaurant. The service is good. The portions, however are quite small. What we found most entertaining was when our friends order the duck and were presented with it before being served only then to be served a fraction of it. No matter how well it was cooked, the anti climax of being presented with such a small portion could not be compensated for.

這間餐廳環境不錯,食物水準尚可。和牛的生熟度合適,由於是M5 級别,所以,口感不肥膩。可是,甜品則偏甜。

A nice and quiet place for lunch. The service is very nice and so are the food. It is on the pricier side but it’s worth it.

Standard of this restaurant has slipped over the years, both in term of cooking & service. To be fair most dishes are not bad, especially for a Kowloon side restaurant, but definitely not outstanding for the not inexpensive price. What really let this supposedly high class restaurant down is its service level, understaffed with inadequate training affects the entire dining experience.
從未來過食餐, 趁Restaurant week機會可以比較經濟的價位同太座來試一次, 但結帳都要$575/pp 來說現今的香港實在係高消費城市。餐廳客人坐嘅位置主要在一級高的平台上, 枱面同櫈都係比例上較寬敞, 先上的餐包被烘得香氣四溢, 好難唔食忍手, 最終我們還多來了一盤麵包因為這裡的經理相當醒目, 而搽包用的牛油也確實花過心思, 外觀是灰黑色的物體(似跌打藥膏)所以搽上一個雙色丁瓦小碟上收美化作用, 四種包都各自精彩, 如果你係一個喜愛食麵包的行家, 千萬別錯過這裡的餐包, 那灰黑牛油的味道十分熟悉但就是認不出來, 唯有問經理啦! 其他他們放低時有講但通常都唔太在意情況下聽咗, 經理答道: seaweed! Oh! Seaweed 海藻/ 紫菜!! 唔怪得之咁熟悉的味道啦!
頭盤: 1.) Seared duck Foie Gras ,Eel, Cured Duck Burdock Root – 係一道法式混合日式的菜式, 鵝肝雖說是seared 但只是輕煎, 所以內裡大部份鵝油還保持住, 吃了兩口感覺是應該要杯白酒了, 這是供應的是德國的Riesting Kabbinnett +$70/Glass, 入口帶甜到尾時感覺好輕微嘅酸味, 而這道菜的鰻魚質感相當有咬口亦肉厚, 調味是輕醬油, 而灑面的牛方蒡絲實在是好幼的絲, 混合其他食材一起食的時候實在唔係好感覺得到,
2.) Kegani Crab Bisque , Okinawa Egg, Nigigata Rice 簡單一點說是毛蟹湯飯上加只沖繩蛋,湯頭有毛蟹鮮味, 飯是否”新瀉的米”好難去辨別,不過店方話係就係啦! 蛋來自沖繩也好來自廣島也好, 同一只來自大陸嘅蛋也好, 以這種復合形嘅食法好難分辨了吧! 這種以地名帶出食材的方式大概只是市場學的技倆吧
主菜: 1.) Australian M5 Wagyu Beef Striploin Charred Vegettables +$180 西冷有三小件, 最大的那件有麻雀般丁方大小, 肉質的確唔錯, 亦沒有滿口都是牛油, 燒蔬菜是幾條吧,
2.) Grilled Boston Lobster Taglionlini , Galangal, Kombu, 半隻龍蝦燒得好有炭嘅香氣但肉質是剛剛熟, 配上一小不碟的南薑醬汁, 如果蘸汁吃這泰式醬汁會蓋過這美味的蝦肉所以我大部份蝦肉都沒有蘸汁食,反而用來蘸手工蛋幼麵食, 跟這蝦來的意式手工幼麵做得幾幼身每條麵條寬度均一, 惜汁太少麵條很容易被風乾及黐埋一舊,
Dessert: 1.) Chocolate Temptation -焦糖香蕉, 百利酒雪糕 , 底墊有香蕉蛋糕, 面頭有用巧克力拉出來的巧克力網作裝飾
2.) Vege Scoop – 以一球雪糕作結, 太座選了Purple Carrot & Blood orange , 顏色是暗紅色味道是很難分辨出血橙反而有淡淡的紫甘筍香氣不過也是要集中一點精神才可以感覺得到, 口感是做到相當滑溜, 用植物+果物做出來的雪糕實在是相當具挑戰性, 而作為這麼有級數的餐廳自我挑戰亦是必然, 有挑戰才有進步,雖然這次不見得太突出但勇氣可嘉!
這套餐是沒有咖啡或茶的, 最後反而送兩粒似乎是蛋白做的法式甜點, 但如果怕甜的人最好還是不吃為妙,
