Good taste and good environment
Really enjoyed the omakase tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was good and so was the service.

$1650 for 1kg of flavourless under-cooked steak on the bone, full of sinew and not grass-fed. Friendly staff. I think one can find better steaks and much better value for money elsewhere though.

下午的價位實在驚喜,還可以圍繞一款主菜自由配搭前菜或甜品的數量。對於甜品沒有太大興趣的我們,一位選了三道菜,另一位選了四道菜,這樣就四款前菜都吃到,還有一個甜點可以分享。

鬆軟的麵包和脆片,喜歡這個黑芝麻牛油,還隱約帶點海苔的香氣。

第一道鵝肝和田螺,鵝肝沒有煎到一咬即化,反而保留一點點口感,更實在。每口都爆出香濃的鵝油,再吃一粒田螺,味道也挺和諧的。底下的醬汁除了吃到牛油,我吃不到是什麼呢,真是需要大進修。

第二道海鮮湯,我覺得只是一般呢,質地很濃厚,味道就純樸一點。內裡有些魚和鮮貝,旁邊的小多士我卻比較喜歡,雖說有蒜泥在內,蛋黃醬的戲份高很多呢。

這個岩蠔是第三度菜,十分有驚喜!驚喜的不是新鮮爽脆的生蠔,而是上面的兩款醬汁。柚子泡沫酸爽清新,配搭鹹鮮的生蠔零舍開胃。
基本上我每次吃生蠔,都不覺得應該放任何過多的調味,原來只是未遇到對的味道。柚子有又像檸檬,但比較溫和,多一份香氣。另外的火箭菜沙冰實在是太厲害了,完全想不到可以這麼合,簡直是昇華。

第四道,松葉蟹肉配龍蝦凍,要配上魚子醬的咸鮮才夠味。旁邊的好像是鵝肝醬多士,有點油膩,也吃不出意思。

原隻烤波士頓龍蝦,新鮮是一切了,肉質爽彈嫩富牛油香。配菜都要吃光,烤番薯和蒜頭很香,沙律的酸酸甜甜醬汁也很好吃呢。

烤鴨的煮法完美,但個人喜歡比較再濃鴨味一點,當然因為不喜歡鴨味的比較多,所以會有調整是明白的。旁邊的薯泥非常滑,帶點甜,再問下原來是芹菜泥。

甜點要了焗法國芝士配松露雪糕,好大的一份。芝士非常咸香濃郁,雪糕奶味超重,松露味顯得淡,整個配搭我吃兩口就膩到不行了,真的不是吃甜的人。

One of the waiters with glasses at his 40’s, he is terrible! He’s not helpful and absolutely unprofessional.
All of the coffees from espresso to cappuccino are disgusting!! The worst ever coffees at hotel dining in our lives!
Would rate it 5* if that waiter would be kind and the coffee wasn’t that awful!!

Chef li was creative as usual and the visiting Japanese chef impressed me with the main course kunbo wrapped wagyu beef. Chef li came up with the idea of Japanese cocktail to match with his dishes. Worthy effort !!!

1️⃣Amuse Bouche
非常之驚嚇嘅第一道。食完第一啖真係皺晒眉頭。蛋非常滑溜,但面層嘅清湯偏鹹同酸,好似有陣酸味,個人就唔太鍾意。Caviar嘅存在感亦偏低。另外亦有爽脆嘅玉米荀,調味恰到好處,正常發揮。
2️⃣Foie Gras 焦糖燉鴨肝 蘋果
食完第二道繼續皺眉,一度以為佢今次既menu唔太啱我口味。
焦糖燉鴨肝嘅焦糖脆面好靚!不過好似有啲厚薄不一,焦糖太厚既地方有啲痴牙、唔太脆,甜度好高,完全蓋過鴨肝嘅香氣。而焦糖脆面薄啲嘅位置,焦糖嘅甜味同鴨肝嘅香氣相對balance啲。
底層嘅燉鴨肝 質地有啲似老左嘅燉蛋,食落無乜鹹香味,令整體感覺偏甜。
旁邊就有一個冰鎮蘋果,賣相唔錯,真係以蘋果作器皿。不過食落就好普通,就係裹滿沙律醬嘅蘋果,勝在蘋果夠晒爽甜。但係我真係唔鍾意食沙律醬。
Hakata Jidori 博多地雞 雞白湯
上菜嘅時候,店員會即場倒入雞白湯至米飯當中。雞白湯味道相當特別,完全係carbonara版嘅雞湯!成個感覺好似泡飯,但係米飯質地唔會好似平時個啲咁軟綿,反而係偏硬身帶咬口,幾鍾意呢個口感。
碗上面有一串雞肉串燒,外層非常香脆,博多地雞肉質嫩滑,香辣微酸好惹味!仲可以點埋帶紅椒香氣既醬汁~
4️⃣Soja Bread 清酒 醬油麵包
好神奇地麵包竟然會係第四個course先上。Anyway,係連續兩道好少見又驚喜嘅菜式!
麵包以清酒作烘烤,聞落去陣陣米香,食落真係有淡淡清酒香!麵包外皮偏厚身,超!香!脆!食落同飯焦有幾分相似。果然係醬油麵包,鹹香味越咬越岀,塗上旁邊超香嘅牛油,可以平衡麵包嘅鹹香,不過我就鍾意就咁食個麵包多啲啦。特別鍾意麵包嘅質地,煙韌有彈性!質地真係有啲似外脆內彈嘅canelé。
5️⃣Turbot fish 比目魚 甜豌豆 黑蒜
係比較清淡嘅一道~ 比目魚肉質較為紮實,火喉啱啱好夠晒滑,完全唔腥。黑蒜同甜豌豆嘅配搭 令菜式入口有些微甜酸味,特別鍾意爽脆、帶天然甜味嘅甜豌豆。而最底就有帶鹹味嘅菠菜。
6️⃣Lavender Duck // Wagyu, Abalone +$120
Wagyu, Abalone 和牛 鮑魚 +$120
建議大家唔洗加$120轉和牛
和牛屬於比較有咬口個種,肉質唔太軟腍,油脂感低,牛味偏淡。邊邊位帶焦香,但有少少筋。旁邊既醬汁係加左黑松露嘅燒汁,不過點落又唔係好品嚐到黑松露嘅香氣。鮑魚相對較為岀色,爽彈入味。
Lavender Duck 薰衣草 烤鴨 川椒
簡直係有史以嚟食過最滑嘅鴨!滑得嚟有彈性!鴨肉呈粉嫩嘅紅色,鴨味香濃無腥味,估唔到同柔和嘅薰衣草咁夾!入口甜甜地,帶些微川椒嘅香氣,但食落完全唔辣!
旁邊就配左兩款醬汁,兩款都偏酸,可以中和鴨肉嘅油脂感。不過我就覺得唔點醬正啲。
7️⃣Chocolate Temptation // Fromage, Truffle +$60
Fromage, Truffle 法國芝士 松露 +$60
法國軟芝士camembert温熱軟滑帶奶香,鹹香亦挺突岀,就咁食已經好正!而另一舊圓軲轆既竟然係松露雪糕,估唔到松露味都幾香,甜甜地完全唔鹹!不過將兩樣mix埋一齊食 質地一啲都唔夾 (其實正常係咪唔會一齊食?!) 分開食就兩樣都好邪惡好滿足。
Chocolate Temptation 香蕉 朱古力 核桃
最頂層嘅朱古力雪糕 好香橙酒!底下就舖左核桃蛋糕同焦糖香蕉。核桃蛋糕濕潤軟綿,甜度恰到好處。焦糖香蕉甜甜地,但竟有無焦糖脆皮。連裝飾既朱古力都好高質!係香濃嘅黑朱古力!加埋一齊食層次挺豐富~
用餐體驗相當唔錯,店員細心、非常樂於講解每道菜式。食材與配搭上花咗唔少心思,每一道都係味蕾上既衝擊,雞白湯、醬油麵包、薰衣草烤鴨都幾有驚喜。不過偶有一兩道唔太啱口味,成餐飯食到好似坐緊過山車咁。Overall嚟講,都算值得一試!因為完全唔係一般平時食到嘅味道,幾乎每碟都會食到嗯~岀聲 (um不過有兩碟係皺眉既嗯~)。同埋店員比人感覺相當專業同caring!

Wouldn’t say the 8 course omakase is particularly creative but the strong sauces and flavors of the haute style are well done. Casual atmosphere. Avoid the mediocre wine pairing but do pay the supplement to upgrade the steak to omazaki

因為想試美麗華酒店的Whisk,所以拎了一日假,訓到自然醒,再吃頓午餐,再行一下街,買一下東西,過悠閒的一日。
這家餐廳裝修比我想像中失望,只是很普通的西餐廳。和一般五星級酒店的西餐廳相比,真的很失色。
這裏主打法日菜fusion ,看到網上一道荷葉的菜式來這裏。餐牌只有一張紙,上面寫了日本食材的名字,分別在於四道菜和八道菜。
因為晚上還要吃其他,所以就選了四道菜。作為試試這間餐廳的質素。
雖然四道菜,但想upgrade食海膽和鮑魚,還有個芝士甜品,都要再加錢,再加多兩杯酒,其實點完餐,這個lunch人均都要700蚊。
麵包先來,配海藻牛油,還好,但麵包不太吸引,所以都没有吃完。然後有點造型的魚子醬蒸蛋,很一般。
然後一個雀巢造型的煙燻雞肉,有點見分享,可是味道卻普通。
然後到了主角,名叫旨。用荷葉盛着海膽、松叶蟹肉、赤蝦,再放上紫蘇花作點綴。賣相好靚,我為它而來,賣相没有令我失望,海膽鮮甜、赤蝦彈牙,新鮮的味道。
然後就是和牛鮑魚,鮑魚都算煮得入味,和牛小小一塊,但都肥美,入口有牛油香。味道未至於很驚喜,但因為我喜歡和牛和鮑魚,所以也算滿意。
然後就是吞拿魚米紙卷,長長方方的一條半透明,上面鋪了吞拿魚蓉,再放上紫蘇花,味道很一般,但因為造型特別,為打卡加了分。
加錢的松露芝士雪糕,最驚喜。半溶的帶咸香的芝士和奶味香濃的雪糕配在一起,又咸又甜的,卻異常合襯!
另一款不用加錢的甜品雪葩,酸酸甜甜好開胃,也不錯。跟餐的餐酒甜甜地易入口,比自己點的紅白酒更合我口味。
總括來說,米芝蓮一星的午餐,環境裝修都普通,味道也很普通。幸好菜色有點賣相,可打卡,挽回一點分數,不過以$700食個午餐來說,可以有更多更好的選擇。短期內不會回來,如果回來都會試其Omakase。

i had the omakase menu, the best one which made me unforgettable was caviar.
The worst one was the oyster, wrapped with kinda ham or what.

Wouldn’t recommend. Went in the evening and had the tasting menu, staff were absent from when when we arrived at the door to throughout dinner, when they did communicate with us they were fairly cold throughout the evening, and the somellier was incredibly rude. Food read decent but not amazing. The only positive experience was for two dishes the (junior?) chef came to our table and he was really great to talk to, even with my limited Cantonese. Venue is pretty spaced out and impersonal. Overall there are far better places for that price in HK that are far more inviting, and I have strong issue with any venue that behaves like their customers are beneath them. Won’t be returning.
Staffs are very nice and helpful, also well trained. Quiet , relaxing and comfortable environment. It will be nicer if with a bit music! It is quit impressive that staffs will introduce the special characteristics of each dish in the set dinner. Each dish is well decorated . However, the size of each dish …. Is a bit small, may not enough for men as a dinner. The taste of the dishes is fair… Not that much impressive under that price.

Deceitful policy even to paid membership. Only an omakase menu for dinner was offered online and also physically at the restaurant. We intended to use a dining voucher that stated it could be used for lunch or dinner from Mon-Fri at this restaurant.
The first staff declined the use of voucher for this was a “special menu”. When told it was not stated on the voucher, the second staff said only applicable to a la carte food items. When asked why they hid the a la carte menu, he said the a la carte menu was shown ONLY ON REQUEST. Okay we accepted the fact that we got tricked and paid. Third staff came to explained that the food items offered on a la carte menu were the same as those on the “special” menu, only more expensive. Well, then it’s not that special right?! And that was not even a valid explanation. We could have ordered less items, instead of all the same dishes for all 3 of us, to make use of the voucher.
If staff didn’t have the authority to make things right in this kind of situation, don’t bother sending 3 different persons to pretend to care, only to provide more and more unsatisfying excuses.
