Great northern style Chinese food. We joined the package that included a boat trip in Victoria harbor after dinner.
The dinner was very good and higher than KY expectation. View was good and you can see the whole Victoria harbor.
You’ll be hard pressed to find a more spectacular view of Hong Kong than at Hutong. Besides the view, the interiors and theatrics of the restaurant, the way the dishes are presented and the occasional noodle making are added bonuses of truly delicious and authentic tasting Chinese food. Every time I go, I order the Mandarin fish fillets in Sichuan broth and even though its Sichuan spice knocks my head off, it is by far my favourite dish. Be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment with your seating location in the restaurant.
This is a Chinese restaurant that is managed by Aqua Group. Apparently, it has the best view in TST, but I had a hard time finding the entrance to the building so I was lost for quite a bit. When you enter the restaurant, the interior is fancy and breathtaking, but after a while, it started to look a bit cheap to me. Overall, considering the location and price, I didn’t think the actual dining experience was all that great. For example, the table setting and the service could have been much better. The food itself wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything over the top. And there’s a 2 hour limit, so you can’t really linger for a long meal. But the sunset view was beautiful, so it might be a good place to bring a date. To be honest though, for the price I paid, I’d rather enjoy a meal somewhere else.
Very beautiful view of the harbor and decoration. Not impressed with the food. Pork ribs is so sweet soaked in the sweet sauce with no other flavor. If you are looking for a beautiful view rather than the food this is a must.
Incredible view and nicely decorated ancient china style restaurant. Not necesarily cheap but the price totally worth it.
晚上一定要預定風景好的座位，每人最低消費400-555港幣，視座位而定。紅燈籠（炸蟹）。脆皮雞。醬油牛肉。吃了胡同麻辣炒飯，牛肉菜很好吃，最多兩隻螃蟹很軟很好吃，但是油膩感逐漸上升。雞肉不熟悉一點香料，我期待著炒飯，但它太油膩了。風景和氣氛都不錯，但我有點懷疑是否值得支付最低費用。
九龍半島上有吸引力的餐廳。香港島的景色非常壯觀。食物是帶有西式風味的中餐，突出了軟殼蟹和川味雞。建議預訂，因為它通常已滿。缺點是你為位置付費，平均價格有點高。
仔仔生日一家人敊會，北京道1号28楼，维港夜景正，環景舒服，晚间稍黑一点。
We had the foie gras, scallop and crab spring roll, pork bun (sorry no photo) and 24h marinated lamb.
The 4 dishes were incredibly good. Actually was very hard to choose because it has really good options.
We had an apple crispy roll for desert that was OK only.
Service is good but they keep filling the glasses that is a little annoying.
A very good place for Chinese food
The view is amazing. Get there to watch the sunset, dusk and night. The food was really good but not the best food for the price…still no complaints. A lovely atmosphere. Try the duck pancakes
5 star view, 4 star service, 3 star food.
I’d give 5 stars really for the setting and amazing views of Hong Kong. But the food was just alright (some really good, but nothing spectacular)… but let’s be honest, it’s really about the views here despite all the claims about the food.
打個比方，如果你付2000HKD，1000HKD是風景，500HKD是氛圍和服務，剩下的就是吃的了。

Garry and I spent two nights at Hutong which made our stay in Hong Kong all the more memorable. Great ambiance, food and staff make this a must do in Hong Kong

A great restaurant with a great view over the Hong Kong. It is a nicely designed restaurant. The food was quite good but a bit pricey. The view was really nice. It is a good place for lunch when visiting Hong Kong.

Hutong Champagne Brunch with free flowing Veuve 2008. What an experience ? Sichuan/Wuhan style cuisine that was jam packed full of flavour, precisely balanced seasoning and no hint of heaviness or oiliness. If in Hong Kong I recommend booking yourself here, and make sure you upgrade your Champagne from the Veuve NV to the Veuve 2008, it’s only a little more but very well worth it. Brunch and free flow champagne $780 HKD ($130AUD) per person. Rating 9.5/10
View was amazing! But the food was disappointing. While it wasn’t bad, nor was it good, and especially for the price, the food was not that special.
The service was absolutely horrible for the type of restaurant they try to be. Servers all had some kind attitude, and did not even bother to put up a smile. Half of which appeared to not care and ended up spilling on our plates / food / desk every time they helped us fill our tea. Won’t be going back.
While a two star is admittedly too harsh, quality of both produce and service needs to improve.

Went there for the 18-course brunch! 3.5 hours food and drinks, just for a small additional cost (HKD200) free flow champagne and +HKD100 for free flow soft drinks. Incredible experience!! Highly recommend. Stunning view, food and entertainment!
Spectacular views! If you go for dinner, try to book before 7.30pm and request a window seat towards the far right. This sets you up well for the light show at 8pm. The venue is great for groups as it is a tapas style menu. I enjoyed the mixed vegetable dumplings and beef tenderloins in oyster sauce. I didn’t mind the Malbec too.

Had the Kung Pao prawns, which were delicious! The highlight of the restaurant is the harbour view though, which is spectacular!

Overpriced and absolutely terrible staff and service. Food was tasty (Peking duck was the star) but didn’t make up for the incompetence. Skip it.
Decent place to take visiting friends
Had a great time having the Fang Wei brunch here on a Sunday. Food was great and there was lots of it (including an abalone and soft shell crab per person), view was great, service was great, there was even a show, and this made it great value as well especially the bottomless Veuve for $200HKD for 3 hours…
Very good but not absolutely great food. And great view of the skyline, so definitely worth the wait.

Amazing place with superbe view on Victoria harbor. Great food, but service can be improved
The place has extraordinary ambiance and phenomenal views of the Hong Kong Island Harbourside and Victoria Harbor, and alone for those it is worth a visit.
We picked the signature Prix-fixe multi course menu, and the food quality was inconsistent. The Mongolian beef, for example, had good beef, but it was very bland – not tasty at all. A few of the other course were good, but none was really great and worth the price. So you clearly pay for views and ambiance first and food second. Knowing that, you can make some smart choices.

Drinks are appropriately themed for this Sichuan restaurant. Used to have a Michelin star, but I can see why it doesn’t anymore. Doesn’t mean it’s bad, just not exceptional. Large portions, good food, interesting decor, and a great view.
But the restroom is a little scary and ominous, so go quickly.
