Hang Heung is the best traditional bakery in Hong Kong. Love wife cake the most. Cost me around $52 for half dozen. Located in Hankow Road Tsim Sha Tsui which really convenience. Staffs are super nice and helpful. Just few minutes walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station or Harbour city. White Lotus mooncake with 2 yolks in mid autumn festival is also the best among other Chinese pastry. Hong Kong style egg roll is also my first choice. For sure will buy Hang Heung as souvenirs in Hong Kong. Highly recommended!!!!
A friend wanted to get some local stuff as gifts to bring back to the UK but the food here is very different so I suggested the Sachimas because they are similar to rice crispies but soft and chewy.
The box at Hang Heung were quite good because it was boxed nicely and you get 8 pieces for HKD55.
I tried a box myself and they were quite palatable but if you go to Taipan there are more different flavours to choose from.
在恆香購買一盒3黃白蓮蓉月餅,期望享用出色的月餅.結果有點令人失望.蓮蓉甜度適中可惜咸蛋黃乾淨淨欠油份及香味. 而美心月餅的咸蛋黃命甚有油份.
仲有佢哋賣老婆餅的定價好奇怪,好有問題. 大裝老婆餅6個重500 gm($58), 而迷你裝8件重400gm ($70)
The wife cake is amazing!! Its soft and not so bouncy like the one i usually have, but in a good way!
