Macaroon這道小甜品被喻為少女的酥胸,甜美漂亮及色彩繽紛,早陣子拜訪這間連法國皇室都為之讚嘆的甜品店,最有名的是玫瑰紅桑子吉士macaroon,一口咬下去,甜甜的外皮,正好以紅桑子的酸度作出調和,吉士又將紅桑子的酸度再調至適合的酸度並且帶出紅桑子獨有的果香,其後口中飄出一陣陣的玫瑰香氣,味道就是如此讓人着迷,難怪不叫人一吃傾心。高呼法國我愛你

5月7日在K11買咗个心型疍糕送給媽咪,本來同媽咪滿心欢喜地切來吃,後來吃後感到極度失望,味道及材料極差,這樣的價錢簡直是不合理,美心餅店還好吃得多,不知是否是節日做得太多影响水準。

A French cake shop in K11. The macarons and cakes here are colordul and delicious. But the seats are crowded and not comfortable. The cake with a macaron on the top is the most cost-effective.

Um…where should I start?
The store is tiny, there’re only 2 to 3 crowded seats inside. So if you don’t want to do take out, chances are…you’d have to wait quite a bit for the previous customer to finish. The staff is nice and has a great knowledge of its cake, so don’t be shy to ask for recommendations.
As for the food. They have some of the richest, creamiest Crème Brûlée in town. I love how smooth its texture is, and also the well-balanced sweetness. The coffee one is also nice, but not as great as the original.
The Praline Millie-Feuilles is not bad. Its praline layers are rich and dense while the Millie-Feuilles is okay.
As for their berries tart, it’s just horrible! The Macaron on top is soggy and overwhelmingly sweet. The tart shell is soggy as well and its filling, I found it too dense for a tart. The only things I like are the fresh berries on top.
Conclusion: I would come back for the Crème Brûlée and Crème Brûlée only.
Paul Lafayet’s crème brûlée is insanely awesome – pricey but 100% worth it.

Pleasant Staff and Taste good creme brulee
Being a famous brand name, this outlet at K11 is pretty small but neat and elegant. There’s hardly any seatings here, so all cakes and desserts are for take-out. Its macarons are some of the best in town, but I like the creme brulee the most, very silky and with a freshly made caramel crust on top. It’ heavenly!

說實話,我並沒有抱太大的期望,但是真的很好。味道鮮美而且不太甜。形狀也很漂亮。玫瑰蛋糕香味濃郁,但味道卻有點令人失望。玫瑰香味太濃了,所以我不喜歡這個味道。我推薦伯爵灰奶酪。這是一個非常厚的芝士蛋糕。

請嚐嚐這裡的焦糖布丁。。。世界上最喜歡的。。。我去的時候還有粉紅色的焦糖布丁,玫瑰味的,不過不管怎樣,明明是什麼味道都會好吃,所以請吃吧。。 . 你吃完的碗是陶瓷的,去洗手間吧。洗完了可以帶走。我在家當包子醬用的很好。

焦糖布丁?
I bought a 6-pc macaroon box, 150HKD, using by an octopus card. Their macaroons are very fragrant. Staffs speak English so well.

香脆的糖衣
使用黃糖做焦糖糖衣使色澤更深
味道少許帶甘蔗味
配上軟滑的Custard混合香草籽
令味道更加豐富
比香草精油更加細膩
簡單可口 濕潤綿滑
上面暖暖又脆
下層的口感介於布甸和蛋撻之間
每一口都充滿著蛋香
的確是水準之作
只是用叉進食..
不及自己的舌頭乾淨
幸好附近沒什麼人流
不然這樣子舔著小皿相信是蠻嚇人的舉動

Delicious, a bit expensive ($50 each) but the creme brulee is delicious, u can actually keep the container and reuse it afterwards.
Staff there are nice and polite. There are other desserts as well, i tried the chocolate cake which was quite good. The place is quite small, cant see any seats (maybe 1-2), dont expect to dine in. They can help you to use the burn/roast the brown sugar (but you need to eat it within 30 mins). If not, they can give you the sugar separately and you can do it yourself.
I did it myself therefore didn’t look very nice in the picture.

stars given for quality of the cream and ingredients they use in their dessert. Bought a good sampling. Highlights were definitely Tiramisu (for those who like a very light dessert) and chocolate bar (for those who like rich dense chocolate) . Not really a place for cake lovers though.

有小伙伴跟我一樣,行過甜點店就會想買上一兩件甜品吃嗎?呀Ju比較常買的是PAUL LAFAYET的馬卡龍,除了味道選擇多之外,顏色的豐富更滿足了少女心???
馬卡龍macaron是一種吃下去令人有幸福感的法國甜品,雖然外殼看上去很堅硬但其實十分易碎,不少人都覺得太甜,但如果理解原料就會覺得其實情有可願。馬卡龍的原料雖然很簡單,多數由蛋白、杏仁粉和糖粉為基礎,在兩塊餅乾之間的內餡需要用黏稠扎實的(例如甘納許、奶油乳酪或果醬等)不然會粘不起來。
每一間店家的馬卡龍配方都不太一樣,每一次吃都覺得口感奇妙,要做好亦不太容易,至少呀Ju自己在家做已經失敗了幾次 >_< 而且因為甜度問題,每次都不會吃太多顆,我覺得2顆已經剛剛好,所以還是去買出名的店家解解口慾好了~

I’ve bought 12 pieces of macarons from Paul Lafayette in which some has quite an extraordinary taste with rich smoothy fresh cream. Those with absolute devine taste includes the rose, Baileys, mango jasmine, lychee and passion fruit flavor. While on the other hand, I wouldn’t really recommend pistachio and raspberry flavour cuz the flavour doesn’t really express on your taste buds. Hope that you could explore your favorite macron out there!
