Premium Quality Pastry at Reasonable Price ?
Randomly walked pass TST East area and noticed that Kowloon Shangri-La has just opened their bakery store at ground floor. The window display is quite attractive, which immediately drag me in to purchase some as afternoon treats ???
Surprisingly their pricing is quite approachable- not at the level that you would be expecting for a 5-star hotel bakery store ?

The layerings, crisps, buttery flavours are just right ?? Also the chocolate stuffings are more than I expected, super fulfilling and definitely made my day ? ?

二話不說!買!?真係omg我成隻手掌咁巨咁3D,聞落的確有陣陣大樹菠蘿既清新,牛角包無牛油香稱得上牛角包嗎?好彩係我滿意既牛油香??!!頭尾尖尖keep到微脆,而裡面既餡係塞滿左8-9成?食到大樹菠蘿既粒粒,真係幾香,但太足餡我都撩走左一半以上既cream?最緊要唔會過甜,滿意??

個樣似足dough bros pizza & doughnut 既扁踢踢版冬甩?質地都話比我聽佢係麵包,痴滿椰絲,就咁聞都索到果陣榴槤香,一禁就爆餡?切開真係唔令人失望,果陣香氣係會令鍾意食榴槤嘅你滿意?omg每啖都似食緊好熟好稔既榴槤蓉,再加入忌廉去打,成件事滑溜香濃到不得了。果晚刷完牙依稀仲有陣除架hahahaha??

一個圓碌碌既包,無任何餡料同設計,簡簡單單既牛油香帶有少許鹹味,已令我覺得係人間美食?

時代廣場樓下 City’super開咗香格里拉嘅Baked by Shangri-La 嘅Pop up shop,大部份都係丹麥酥系列,賣相吸引.但由於出面好多麵包舖都有嘅種類所以挑選左相對獨特,出面比較少見到嘅貓山王竹炭冬甩?($40)
✨果然有驚喜???
德國的”冬甩”特色,與常見圈圈不同,中間沒有孔洞.有d會擠入果醬/吉士醬.而依個就充滿豐富嘅貓山王榴槤蓉加上忌廉,非常滑溜.陣陣榴槤味非常香濃?而麵包相當軟熟表面佈滿椰絲加上淡淡竹炭味麵包同餡加埋融和得好好,唔會好漏~
一個人食唔到一個榴槤買個冬甩食完全止到癮✨??呢個價錢酒店水準非常有驚喜
下次要去尖沙咀酒店賣試埋其他麵包先?

I definitely like the variety of pastries – cinnamon rolls and especially Boston cream doughnuts aren’t common in HK. Pretty good flavor too. The cinnamon roll was interesting, with a bit of some other spice – cardamom I guess? And it was so perfect-looking, like a cartoon cinnamon roll, haha.
However, we found the pastries quite dry. Next time I’d go first thing in the morning to try them fresh.
A trip up to heaven and back!
