Beware of bad service. Date of incident: Feb 23, 23 afternoon.

It’s outrageous that the waiters told us to leave because we hit the time limit out of sudden, despite we were the only customers there, in day light, weekday, and we did buy two cups of coffee and cake. There were no signs of a time limit on the counter.

The service was not justified. We called that their managers that day.

Such a shame. We used to love the cakes here especially the Earl Grey, but then they put up the prices to an extortionate level! Cakes were already far too expensive (around $68 per slice two years ago) but understandable for the sugarfree and keto friendly options, but last I checked, who wants to pay almost $100 per slice! Yet if it wasn’t for the terrible service, I would still go back for an occasional treat. There’s a chubby older ‘lady’ who acts and speaks like she’s been directly transplanted from a wet market! ? totally unaware or just don’t care (most likely the latter) of her customers …just gossiping and complaining loudly, complete with expletives, while we were trying enjoy our extremely expensive cake and coffee.

PS: photo was taken at another branch in sai ying pun where service and atmosphere is so much superior. So if you’re in the mood for expensive fancy fare, I recommend you empty your wallets at this branch instead
