Amazing 4-dishes course with great service. They accidentally served a wrong main dish to us but replaced with a correct one and treat us extra dessert. The course started with a surprisingly delicious chestnut soup, the foie gras with tender loin was an amazing pairing, and signature desserts one after another made a great ending to the amazing dinner. Both food and services worth the money.
Good experience and service in Hong Kong. Reasonable price for set menus too.

Foods are fair. The woman manager has poor altitude. Bills are called when the meal is in the mid way. Will never visit again.
The set lunch is very good. It has a selection of appetizers which is very delicious. The price is about HKD 500

Went to Hugo’s for a birthday brunch great call that. It is an amazing restaurant set in the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong. The appetizer is a buffet style with mostly season and some delicacy meats. Then the main course I had was a melt in your mouth roast beef with carrots and baked potato. Do yourself a favour don’t fill up on bread. But do try the garlic bread! Anyway definite 5 star experience.
Wonderful food with excellent services!
Not here to complain about the food (which was enjoyable the few times I’ve been before) but to complain about the lack of service from both the Hyatt Recency “operator” and Hugo’s themselves. Tried to book a table but Hugo’s were not answering and the operator picked up saying they will refer my call and that I would receive a call back about any availability. Two hours later, I had to call Hugo’s again, still “busy” of course, so the operator had to keep trying and failing to put me through. Eventually got there and the reply was there were no availability, which is absolute fine, but when I enquired why I didn’t receive a call back, their reply was “the operator only just relayed the message to us!” with no hint of apology whatsoever. Not the service you would expect from a five star hotel and a restaurant within the said five star hotel.

maybe not to order venison on the lunch menu, it’s a very thin piece of meat fried in breadcrumbs.
Service and food are both top notch. At most all of the food at the Sunday brunch counter tastes good with a rare few items you can skip. At least oysters were really fresh and crisps, lobsters were not overcooked and the liver pate was excellent. Of course, their roast beef prior rib is still the best and a must try
Good old fashion fine dinning kind of place(not Gaddis HEAVY fine) The old team has retired and now with younger team serving. Food is not a modern take in terms of taste and plating, but is a good learning trip that how good food used to be prepared before. Afterwards, one would appreciate and understand the evolution of the modern approach in cooking. ☆Btw, don’t think Jimmy’s Kitchen like. Hugo’s is proper western cooking
Wonderful restaurant, good food good service
趁著假期，與家人來此享受一頓午餐。
坐下點餐後，先送上餐包，分別有洋蔥包，蒜蓉包及法包，好吃得一個不留，侍應生雖說可添加，但為了吃前菜，主菜及甜品，便推掉了。
本人貪吃，點選了前菜，而放棄了羅宋湯。前菜有芒果蝦，西班牙火腿，長腳蟹腳，牛脷等等，好吃得還想問可否添加，但可惜不能，因已沒有太多“空間”了。
主菜選取了燒美國頂級牛肋骨肉，較喜歡吃五成熟的程度，好吃。但與家人所選的原隻波士頓龍蝦拼盤比較，便稍為失色了。
甜品中，拿破崙與歌劇院蛋糕真的好吃，再加上切片生果，真的感到非常滿足。

Hugo’s brunch goes for limited choice of items but do them all very well. At hkd788 per person before +10pc this is at the more expensive end of buffet and you will find there is no sashimi for example and really only one hot dish in the form of an ordered main course. However all cold items are of good quality and the roast beef was stunning. Worth a try.

The place is good and you can enjoy a quiet meal with good service. The beef steak is very good. It’s recommended for one who loves having a meal with good food and nice ambience.

Excellent food , expensive yet very satisfy
It’s rare these days in Hong Kong that I would go into restaurant take a bite of anything and goes OMG. Then I had to pause, savor, and experience the feeling of bliss and happiness. I had that feeling at the first bite of Hugo’s generous cut of their prime rib served on a wagon. Another surprise, when I asked for some horseradish, I was expecting a spoonful of some fancy brand out of a jar, but instead someone pulled out an actual horseradish and had to freshly graded on my plate. The cool pungency of the horseradish just elevated an already well seasoned prime rib to another level. To top it off, services and presentations were excellent. Will definitely return.

Came here exclusively for the prime rib. It was juicy and tender, but on the bland side. It needs more seasoning (on the outside). And it was a long wait for some reason. I didn’t see anyone else ordering it. And I had put it in my reservation note so they’d know in advance. Good professional service. The server wasn’t very good at pouring wine — dripped all over the table cloth. But he quickly covered it up with a small napkin, switched my bread plate (a few drops got on there), and apologized. There was big spots on the cloth he used to wipe the bottle after each pour. Precious $ wasted!
A high end restaurant in a 5 star hotel and you’d expect a great dinning experience like I had here some years ago. You may still get that if you don’t order the Caesar salad. They no longer ask you how you would like your Caesar salad made with different Ingredients. Worst of all, the lettuce were not fresh and yellowish. The steak was the saving grace.
