Standards have slipped at Mortons. I cannot recommend it. It was a busy night, but service was extremely slow, no one would take our order or even serve us drinks. The bone in rib eye was ordered medium rare, but was undercooked with no sear and too rare. Had to recook the order. The air con was blasting cold air, despite it being 17 degrees outside, my wife was freezing and the food was immediately cold. I think management standards have slipped. Where was the show and tell menu of old the personal service? Many mainland visitors eating, and I guess management have decided they don’t need to try too hard to please them. For the prices it’s too disappointing. Forget about Mortons in HK!

Excellent place for celebrating/anniversary. You will be given the menu with private message. We have got Polaroid film (card with staff signatures) for the birthday girl. This was not my first visit and definitely not the last one. Now they offer buy $2500 gift card will free you another $500 gift card. We ordered 22 oz. beef, baked seafood platters, fries, chicken bianco, shrimp scampi capellini, chocolate cake (morton signature) and souffle (free).
They have dress code-no sandals
A Chicago steakhouse located in the Sheraton here at Hong Kong. Visited for a celebration occasion and the food and service were great. Personally I felt the crab cake here was one of the best ones I have had. It has a view of the harbour but since the floor is not located that high and also the window not cleaned (probably not the restaurant’s fault) better not to expect too much about the view. Other choices for steaks in this town would be Wooloomooloo Prime in The One, THE STEAK HOUSE at the InterContinental or the Bostonian at the Langham.
Service quality of staffs, foods, view everything was the best.
Never disappointing. Personable staff remember my name. Food prepared to perfection. Monthly special menus keep things interesting with excellent seasonal offerings.

Very tender and juicy steak
Expensive but reliable
Crab cake and seasonal dry aged rib eye steak are made to perfection. However the porterhouse steak was not as amazing in comparison. If you are looking for juicy, strong flavour of beef and tender meat, dry aged rib eye is definitely the wise choice. Overall portion is quite big, especially for the sides.
Morton’s institution never dissapoint. Speaking for my self, Cajun rib eye steak is still the best from all of kind of steak. Nice view of harbour tho.

Severly overpriced. You reserve a window side seat, they’ll trick you when you’re actually there and give you a regular one. I can cook better steak than they can with sous vide.
Below average food for the top price we pay, service is unacceptable, if you to start an early dinner, the head waiters are hardly seen around.

Great steak, at quite a high price! The interior is a little tired and in need of an update, but the service was excellent and the views of the harbour are lovely.
Morton’s has a steak no steak lover can complain about. The location is fantastic on the fourth level of the building overlooking Victoria Harbour toward the financial district of Hong Kong. You can sit in the bar area for a casual atmosphere. The dining room is a little more formal and romantic. It has amazing views and at night you can see Hong Kong’s spectacular show, “A Symphony of Lights”. We ordered simply – the New York strip cooked medium rare. As you can see from the photo, it was cooked perfectly. We ordered it with “Parmesan and Truffle Matchstick Fries” and paired the meal with a very nice Malbec.

Steak is always good, side dishes always solid, family is happy always eating there. Highly recommend go for Morten in HK. Good for date, anniversary, all sorts of good reasons to spend money on a good experience.

Classic steaks here from a week known American steakhouse from Chicago. The crab cakes and truffle fries was really good, and I had the bone in ribeye steak that was perfectly cooked and properly tender. No flip flops are allowed so best to dress smart casual.
Whatever you’ve heard about the place in terms of how expensive it is – believe your friends: it’s true. Food is good, service, too. However, the price tag is not justified. You can get steaks as good as theirs in other places in the city for more reasonable money. Supposedly, good view on Victoria Harbor. However, it’s actually not that great as it’s mostly blocked by a new development. The place is only good for impressing your boyfriend/girlfriend or parents-in-law. No SPG or Marriott discounts for Gold or Platinum members. They are an independent operator – so they say. One star. Will not go again.

Best steak house in Hong Kong. It is an American chain. If I were in America this would not be my first choice. Great location, top noch food and service.
