This was a lucky find!
The prices are reasonable because the portions sizes are massive! Between two of us sharing a starter and having a main each it was about $250 per head for the dinner menu. The freshness of the ingredients and quality is really good. ?
We had the Soft Shell Crab, Beef Rib Pho and the Bun Cha Ca Phu Quoc (Fish Broth Vermicelli)
?The soft shell crab was a starter but the portion is gigantic so could easily be a main with a side. Honestly it’s the most delicious dish- it came with a gorgeous sweet creamy sauce with shallots and was cooked to perfection. There was also lime to squeeze over the top which worked well- although we could have done with a bit more. I would visit again and again just for this dish! ✨
?The fish broth vermicelli was good. It didn’t have much fish in it but the broth was fruity and fragrant and the pineapple was a delicious touch! The fish paste was made with dill which went well, but personally I preferred to eat it with their homemade chilli sauce as it needed elevating.
? My friend had the beef pho and really enjoyed it. This dish is VERY garlicky so great for those who love garlic.
The atmosphere was ok, but the restaurant could benefit from better lighting so we could see what we were eating. If you are not seated on the leather banquette then the wooden chairs are uncomfortable and could really use some cushions.
At the end of Gateway, a relatively quiet restaurant with a little harbour view.
The beef dishes (steak, bone marrow) are slightly oily and overcooked, the jasmine rice is so good, the rice paper roll is fresh but the sauce doesn’t match well, same for the shrimp salad, more sour flavour would be better.
The food portion is big and value for money.
Absolutely delicious! Tried set lunch twice and was happy both times. Super fresh and good quality ingredients, lots of herbs, meat very well cooked. Vietnamese coffee is very sweet and serves as both drink and dessert. Had to wait for the table both times for over 20 min, but that’s understandable. Food is served quite fast. Will def come back again!
The food is quite overpriced but the decor and staff are very good. The beef pho was OK, but comparing with other restaurants’ price and quality, it was not very outstanding. The location is quite hard to find in the mall.
Food was nice, friendly service but super slow. Tables were empty and ready, but receptionist was too busy to let people in. Long wait even queue was not long
New modern Vietnamese restaurant at Harbour City. Clean, bright decor. Love the natural light and the windows looking into the harbour.
Expect around $200 per head for set lunch (including service charge). Portion is generous and ingredients are fresh and of good quality. We appreciate the amount of fresh herbs and spices that were used. Service is attentive and friendly.
It’s not entirely to my taste and perhaps allowing a la carte ordering for lunch can offer more flexibility, as sometimes, all one would desire is a bowl of great pho. We can see the effort though and would probably re-visit again.
Broth is quite good. But appetizers is a bit cold.
Jan 22: there is clean and tidy, foods are delicious, fish soup and salad are good. Service is good too. Price is $158/set, it is a mid price range in TST.
Food ia modern and delicious
Not bad for modern Vietnamese. Some dishes are quite surprising. Nice spacious space and staffs are friendly.
食物普通，價錢貴，而且叫了2杯越式滴漏咖啡，但衹有半杯。
First visit, pleasantly surprised, food was delicious. Enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered, would love to come back to try their other dishes.

Cosy deco with helpful staffs.
Very fresh ingredients that come in a generous portion. Also, lady in charge ( manager? ) was super nice and provided excellent service that you wouldn’t even get at finer establishments.

I loved the Grilled Fish Roll, it comes with a housemade anchovy peanut sauce (quite spicy!) I actually enjoyed it more with a side of fish sauce :p The Sapa Eggplant Salad was also very refreshing! It was nice of the kitchen staff to put the fish sauce on the side instead of on the salad for us (upon request) ^^
The Wok-Fried Glass Noodles with soft shell crab was flavourful. The noodles they used was thin vermicelli noodles; I was actually hoping for thick glass noodles. The Signaute Beef Pho, on the other hand, was really good. It is loaded with roasted Angus prime rib, braised beef tongue, oxtail in a housemade 24-hour beef broth. I’d highly recommend it 🙂
