Great atmosphere. I wish I could have stayed to hear the Jazz band. The fish and chips were excellent.

Really good band and good selection of beers.
Awesome place. The atmosphere is super and they have a live band that plays occasionally. And they got really good beer, something else than pale lager.
If you are Australian, you need to visit this place as it is own by a man that moved from Australia to Hong Kong 40 years ago.
Had this on our ‘To Do’ list when we were in Hong Kong and was so excited to ‘tick this off our list’.
It was the biggest disappointment of our trip.
There was no atmosphere (ignored upon entering by the guy at the bar); when we did get served beer it was warm.
Upon an offer for another beer we expressed our disappointment about the overpriced beer and received a discount.
We left after that and vowed never to return.
Perhaps we went at the wrong time but we wont be going back to see if it improves.
If you love Jazz and a great night out in Hong Kong then Neds is a must. Fantastic atmosphere and a HK legend. A real must visit
The music and atmosphere are great but I would definitely not recommend eating there. Absolutely disgusting for the price they charge for proper meals. Tinned mushrooms, cold dry chicken and fake bacon. The chef should be ashamed and embarrassed but he obviously doesn’t care at all so he never will feel that way, such a shame.

It’s hard to find great places on Kowloon side, but this place is a gem. The live band played energetic new Orleans style jazz and sounded great. The place it a bit narrow to walk through, but the people were all friendly and enjoying themselves.

If you haven’t been to Ned Kelly’s you haven’t really been in HK. A must go place for every visitor. I always add it to my tours when I show people around and it’s always a highlight for a night in HK.
Great Pub tucker in a very central tourist area. Great range of beers incl Asahi, Carlsberg and Sommerset on Tap. They also have Aussie brands like VB, Crown and ofcourse Fosters.
Steak Sanga is mintox..Try the Pie with Mash and Gravy for that piece of Harry’s at Wooloomooloo?
Don’t go for dinner, this is a late night place. Went too early before all the music started and the food was very meh. Could be a very fun atmosphere from 11:00pm onward if it fills up and there’s live music playing.
Nice Aussie style bistro with surprisingly decent bar food. Great place just to hang with mates and very fun when the bands in.

We were surprised to find a jazz club in this part of Hong Kong. Great atmosphere and apparently the lead singer in the live band knew Sting.

The place is a dump and very dirty. Didn’t stay for the music (nightly bands) but had nice pint of Carlsberg this afternoon at all day happy hour price. The joint is probably popular with local expats.

Total unique little gem of a bar in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui. They have a live band and the manager/owner seems to be the lead singer and comedian. He even did a bottoms up half way through the show to the applause of the crowd.

Pretty decent Shepherd’s Pie though it is called something different on the menu; it is an Australian Outlaw themed bar with live jazz nightly. What do Australian outlaws, jazz, and Hong Kong have in common? Beats me, but it is an interesting spot for a late night bite to eat and a pint of beer.
A great reputation for music but not the typical “Aussie oasis” that you might expect from the name. No sports – no TV – therefore no rugby or footy. I went looking for finals action but didn’t find it here.

Not bad, good drinks offers. Has live music but we missed it. Air con can be a tad cold at times.
Beer was cold. Service was very slow indeed.
