The best jazz place in Hk. My wife lives in singapore and everytime she visits, Ned Kellys is a must do for us.
A fab Jazz & Blues band in Hong Kong, highly recommend Ned Kelly’s Last Stand for food drink and music.
I enjoyed this place. I was there yesterday & the staff was fine. I wasn’t nagged, but checked up with on adequate intervals. I had a good stout, studied the menu & let my server know when I was ready.
I had the rack of lamb, which was really 3 lamb medallions and they were well done instead of being rare to medium rare (I’ve never had well done). But they were okay, not overly well done.
My other suggestion would be to have charging stations available. I couldn’t find any plugs or charging stations.
Overall, I’d go back to this place again. All in all, I do recommend them.
Interesting first experience at this renowned establishment. If you’re looking for a quiet place to sip your fancy cocktail, you’ve got the wrong place. This is a place to swing and clap to a live 5-8 man jazz band while holding a beer or a straight drink in hand.
Place is a bit packed so be prepared to share tables and get shoved a little.
Wasn’t impressed with the venue, staff or food. Went for dinner (during Happy Hour)and entered a poorly lit venue that has seen better times. Ordered the Irish stew and although pleasant enough, the meat and vegies were drowning in a watery gravy. One slice of baguette was insufficient to soak anything. I didn’t realise till I had left that I was charged standard prices for two beers instead of HH prices. Will not be returning.
Came for the pie and was disappointed it was not very flavourful and was nothing to rave about. The ambiance is actually quite nice and really gives off the saloon vibe.

Best jazz place in Hong Kong
This place could be super packed during weekend evenings. Younger customers may not know who the notorious Ned Kelly was, or the voice of the marvellous Louis Armstrong; however the energising Dixieland Jazz was not something that people could easily find elsewhere in Hong Kong, and so it drew people who loved big band to come.
香港最好的爵士酒吧，遍及整個港島。 8:30 左右去，在舞台前找一張桌子。
Great live Jazz! The food is not the best in HK, but the live music saves a lot! 🙂

這是一個能容納50人左右的小酒館，9點30分開始有表演。不只是一次，音樂家表演幾分鐘，然後休息幾分鐘。即使你完全不懂爵士樂，你的肩膀也會顫抖。

This iconic bar has stood the test of all time. 45 years and still going strong. Ned Kelly’s Last Stand is one of my fav pub in Hong Kong. Outstanding Live Band and great selection of cold beers. Wandaful service.
Great music and atmosphere, definitely one of the best place to relax. But wines are not recommended.
Come for the Band and a few drinks… and perhaps not the food. Nostalgia might have taken over but where else serves a reasonable pint and good live music with no cover charge? Band plays from 9:30 on, the place is packed from 9pm, come early.

9點左右進去，點了菜，看了表演一直到11點左右，沒注意（剛喝完再要一瓶）
表演質量很好，很高興看到觀眾聚在一起。
人數比預期的多，所以員工可能會分心。
Came here for the live music, however felt disappointed. Spareribs and home made fish fingers were nice, the beer was cold enough although I felt the Tetley was really light, tasted like water. 9:30pm the band started to play, it was alright, but the vibe wasn’t there for me. The service was really plain, no smiles. The most annoying thing is that a waitress keeps bumping into me every time she passes my seat. There was clearly enough room to fit 2 persons to pass through. This was our first and last time here.

Nice cosy jazz pub but the service could be friendlier and warmer. The servers didn’t seem to keen on serving us even thought the place was practically almost empty.
The band was awesome but couldn’t really say the same about the lady singer. Sure she sounded good but not for all songs.
Overall, it was still enjoyable visit for me but I regret not a 5 stars experience.
A small pub with live New Orleans style jazz. There are some bad seats but they are 10 feet from the band.

Went there for lunch on monday, had to wait for 5 min for the waitress to come by with the menu. then I ordered a burger (68HKD) and after 15 min waiting, a huge cockroach fell from the roof into the bench i was sitting in, like 30 cm from me. I jumped up immediately and look after the waitress but she was busy in the kitchen and as she was not coming I put the ketchup right next to the cockroach to signal and ran away from there. That cockroach was so huge I still think about it every now and then….
Good ambience. Popular with tourists. Food is so so. Live music is a legend in Hong Kong.
Best place I have been to, since returned to Hong Kong 25 years ago.
