Loved being in the highest bar in the world. The view is spectacular, the atmosphere was amazing with live DJ and fun people. I would definitely recommend it to anybody.
Incredible experience to be on the 118th floor, but there are a few things that can go wrong:
The wait can be horrendous
The view can be nonexistent (marine layer socking in the building)
The bar can be crowded
The drinks are pricey.
Last one if more matter of fact. However, it is such a great view, it is worth all of these.
The view of Hong Kong and the boats is amazing. The cocktails were delicious, even if they were pricey, but it was definitely worth the experience at the “highest bar in the world.”
Great view, nice atmosphere. But not enough bartenders to serve everyone.
Ozone is the highest bar (as of this writing) in the world. Sitting on the 118/F of the ICC building in Hong Kong.
It’s worth visiting at least once, or an excuse to go there for special occasions when other people haven’t been up.
However, being the highest bar in the world, it probably does have the most expensive drinks for a bar in the word too so bring your credit card (safe to say all cards accepted).
Great view, terrible service. After 20 minutes trying to get a waiter, we left without drinking anything. Considering it’s one of the most expensive bars I’ve been in my life, should be better.
First, I’d like to start with a positive. It was quite an experience being in a bar so high up in the sky, even though it was very smoggy and the view was limited, I can’t exactly hold that against them. The staff were all incredibly attentive to your needs and react instantly, I can’t stress that enough. Thanks guys!
Now to the not so good. Indeed the Ozone bar has an inflated ego over the years of being the highest bar, and have let other things slide. Such as the food available. On the menu, they looked enticing, not so much on the palate. The only dish that was memorable was their ‘fatty tuna’. That was different and quite tasty.
Let me start with the bad: everything about this “rooftop” bar suffers from inflation. This 118th floor bar sits atop the ICC Ritz-Carlton. But ambience suffers from an inflated ego in that it’s not the confident, classic type of fancy you might expect from a Ritz-Carlton bar. Instead, the place seems to puff out its chest in order to be hip and fancy. While the name of the bar is called Ozone, it really is more of a bro-zone. The tab that you receive, while not the most expensive in Hong Kong (actually, I think the Ritz’s lobby bar is more expensive) is also inflated. But you know what? I’m still saying that you should go (for sunset or on a clear night when there is no cover).
Actually, if it comes down to it and all you’ve got during your stay in Hong Kong are overcast skies, still go (just don’t pay the cover) as Ozone, despite its bro-ness and the price of drinks, is on the list of must-dos I give to any friend going to Hong Kong for the first time. Going to Ozone early in the evening and ordering a drink gives you the chance to take in a view of Victoria Harbour (and, if the weather is cooperating, Vic Peak) from the highest perch we ordinary folk can access. Sure, you could simply go to the Ritz-Carlton lobby on 112th floor to catch a view but, after making the trek to the ICC, it’s worth it to grab a seat on “balcony” (I use quotes because the edge of the balcony is about two stories above your head) edge and just take it all in. Plus, being on the 118th floor is just cooler. (You could also go to the observation deck but you who wants to pay for an elevator ride and, again, 118th floor!) The servers, despite their understanding that numerous people visit for solely for the view, provide decent service. I would ordinarily advise you to tip well but the bar seems to add a flat tip regardless of the party size. So make sure you check your bill before tipping!
Bringing this review back full circle, I must state that, while the view from the 118th floor is magnificent, it’s easy to get caught up in the folderol. From my experience, Ozone does not have Kowloon’s best view of the Hong Kong skyline. I won’t tell you where I’ve found better views in this review but I will point it out in the review for the place that does.

The view from the bar is just …..out of the world…the highest bar in the world and 360 degree view of Hong Kong….what a way to spend our 27th Anniversary…. Once again thanks to our children
Horrible service even though we had a reserved table. The views are nice but it’s so high up that if you look straight you just see the typical cloudy sky. For a rooftop bar I thought it would be configured much better to maximize the view but nope. I’m shocked that this is a Ritz Carlton run bar. Service was so slow and non-existent. I literally had to get up to go ask someone if we could order a drink. I got a response apologizing saying it was a busy night which was laughable as the place was maybe 25% full and very few people at the bar. It’s nice if you want to stop in for a drink but that’s about it. All ex pats too and lots of escorts.
Impeccable views with excellent reasonably priced drinks and snacks. Terrace is semi-outdoor with glass and open roof.
Refined yet not restrictive experience – for such a high profile place. The food menu is somewhat limited but the drink menu is more than OK. Expect prices to be on the high side, but considering ambiance, the view of the harbor and the fact this is now the second highest bar in the world (used to be the first) the prices are just fine. Don’t miss it if you visit HK
Best views of HK island enjoying a drink. They have dressing code, so don’t come too casual.
Amazing place in Hong Kong.
Floor 118…you will have great views over the bay. You can have some snacks or have a meal. Be sure to book.
As a Lover of rooftop bars and Traveler, this bar has been on my bucket list for a year or 2. Sorry to say that it is entirely not only overrated, but the service is worst then any fast food chain i’ve visited. We ordered a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and I requested a shot of St.Germain and a fesh lemon twist with lemon zest into my champagne. Fairly simple request, the bartender refused, saying that it wasn’t on the menu. Lol, but okay, I requested something so simple, ring up a shot of St.Germain, it’s simple. After about 5 minutes of me explaining this, he unhappily agreed, quickly splashed the Elder Flower Liquor into my champagne glass, gave me a chunk of lemon peel and angrily rushed away from the bar. Mind you he wasn’t busy or doing anything at that time, I’m really not sure what caused that reaction, but he completely made me feel like a bother for making the request. My bad, I guess I’m getting too fancy for Ozone?
Excellent view over Hong Kong. Prices are obviously as high as the bar. On the other hand, the 360 viewing platform is several levels lower than Ozone and for the price of a viewing platform ticket, you can already get a beer at the Ozone. Should be an easy choice for the Ozone bar.
First go to Ritz Carlton. From the Metro you will find the Hotel at the end of the Mall on level 8. The hotel is on the 103rd floor. There you need to pass through the lobby and take the elevator to 118th floor, the Ozone bar. Arriving at 5 (even on a Saturday) we did not need a reservationf or 5 people. There is a cosy inside area with music and limited view, and an outside area where you sit directly behind the windows. View there is great, but you are sitting against the glass windows on bar stools. There seemed to be no dress code at this time of the day.
We had a different Gin Tonic each, all were good. The one with Kardamom was most exciting.
Special tip: Use the bathrooms at sunset!
Worth heading for a couple of drinks, wind can be quite strong outside so outside of summer bring a jumper, drinks are pretty pricey.
Drinks are pricey but the views are incredible and there is no one pressuring you to leave. You could always buy a round or two of drinks and sit by the glass for a couple of hours. Great atmosphere.
The view is really nice from here! Drinks are good but quite pricey. I guess you pay for the view. The view from the washroom is actually even better than from the bar.
My first visit was 2012.
The bar was great during the time.
Good vibe, Nice music…
BUT My second visit, They dose not keep up with the reputation.
I decide to never go this place agian.
I would rather go Suger
Amazing, one of a kind view; worth the visit. A very upscale bar with staff paying very close attention to you. Prices are not much more than you’d pay in another fancy bar in the city.
Food was very tasty, but small portions.
Great bar to look out over the city with one of the best views in Hong Kong (and the world). This is definitely a better alternative than SKY100 as there’s no entrance fee during the day/afternoon and drinks are only $100-$150. Make sure the weather is nice as you’ll be standing in the open if you want the view and don’t be surprised if you’re fighting for some space at the front.
The highest bar in the world in a gorgeous building in an amazing neighborhood. If you like a good view, you should definitely check it out. The adventure of getting up there is half the fun. If you get in before 7pm, the dress code is pretty lax – I wore a t-shirt, shorts, and loafers with no trouble at all.
From Kowloon Station, you can walk over to the International Commerce Center building through the outdoor city center (or the indoor, underground mall if the weather’s not so nice). The city center is surrounded by pretty amazing skyscrapers… it’s pretty mind blowing. The Ritz Carlton is on the Southwest side of the building; go inside and take the elevator to the 103rd floor (staff will help you along the way). From there, go across the sky lobby to elevators near a lit “Ozone” sign – press the sign to call the elevator. Take that to the 118th floor, and you’re there!
You can sit indoors or outdoors (the outdoor section has a smallish 5 meter wide, whole side of the building length opening at the top where you can see the sky). Before 7pm on non-busy nights, you can simply come in. Otherwise, make a reservation for the indoor lounge area.
Once you’re there, you have fantastic views of Hong Kong Island from the outdoor section (the indoor section is a little isolated from the view, it’s too far back from the window) since the bar occupies the Southwest side of the building. I had a Gin and Tonic (they have 6 variants), and it was on point. The indoor lounge is gorgeous, the outdoor rooftop has a stellar view. On a cloudy day, it’s hard to see things, but even then the neon signs of Hong Kong sometimes overcome the visibility. This is going to sound funny, but the bathrooms are incredible – you have to check them out when you’re there!
据说是全世界最高的酒吧–占据了丽思卡尔顿酒店的118层楼。装修很太空感,很前卫。窗外正对维多利亚港,大门口的夜景也很赞。
Amazing view. Simply amazing.
Horrible service. Simply horrible. …
Definitely one of the most stunning views in Hong Kong. It’s a must for people visiting the city, but a very enjoyable place to hang around with a good selection of music events and overall reasonable prices for Hong Kong.
After multiple visits to this place my general opinion is it’s a bit high up to totally appreciate the view. You feel a little disconnected. Decor is a bit plastic and could be better. Service is sometimes slow. Trendy spot for a drink nonetheless.
Highest bar in the world with a great view of the CBD skyline. Drinks prices were reasonable and worth it for the view.
Roof top bar on the Ritz Carlton hotel in Hong Kong. Came here for the view. I believe at 9 or 10 pm there is a business casual dress code for men.
Great bar with spectacular views. Drinks are under 150 HKD.
Really nice view, and acceptable prices. Get there an hour or so before sunset to experience both day and night time. Best on a day without haze obviously.
When you can see, the view is great. Good cocktail list.
Worth going up for the view and to use the toilets. Bar itself is expensive and drinks are overpriced for the quality
Its a very classy place with an unforgettable view. Even though we where not as nicely dressed as the other visitors, we where treated very well! The Pims cocktail I had the was the best I ever had. After 9PM you need to where long trousers.
Highest / Best bar in the World. My favorite one is the Dragontini.
Go there to see the light show.
當天傍晚到達,室內客滿,只好室外,那一個冷啊,還好香港的全景一覽無餘。酒水價格肯定要比別的酒吧貴點,另加一成的服務費。
Top of Hong Kong. Nice but expensive. Need a reservation. there is also a dress code
Excellent view of the city, and the drinks aren’t too bad. Neither are the bottle packages, but don’t expect to take great photos of the city’s the glass slants inward so there are reflections of you/the bar on the glass.
Fantastic view, and very friendly staff. Could’ve made their drink menu a bit thicker though. The decor was a bit plastic but other than that, great place and a must visit in Hong Kong.
So so roof top bar. The outside area is like a wind tunnel hence not very comfortable. Cocktails were good though
I love this place! Drinks are quite expensive (long Island = HKD 180). Make sure you checked the weather before you head there, else you’d miss the great scene of Hong Kong Island from 118/F
香港最高的酒吧,在窗邊跟朋友聊天還可以看夜景,很棒的地方
Fun bar! Tallest rooftop bar in Hong Kong i think? Kinda pricy but worth it!
很棒的地方非常好……而且非常豪華。
Very expensive list of drinks but a really cool place to be (with an unbeatable patio and view). Like you’re among the clouds! Service is excellent. The crowd, not so much. The lights are really bright inside. I wouldn’t say it’s intimate here.
這是豪華酒店第一次經營這樣的酒吧。
氣氛沒有達到預期。
如果訂單被推到露台上,人 …
Amazing food. Out of this world cocktails! On the pricier side, obviously, but worth it.
A very special experience. This bar is located at the 118 floor. After taking the elevator to the 103 floor where the lobby of the Ritz- Carlton Hotel you go up 15 more floors to the height like a common flight. They serve realy excellent tspas plates here and big alcohol menu. It is one of Hong Kong best views.
