Yes, very dark. In the extravagant Rosewood Hotel, this bar is modern approach. Relax, have a drink and enjoy the jazz music. Live performance after 20:30.

Interesting cocktail list. Extensive list of rare spirits, including whiskey, cognac, armagnac and even rum! Very good jazz duo who plays jazz standards. Decent size crowd even on a weeknight. Service staff can be more attentive, but it is a brand new hotel, so, hopefully, service quality will improve.
Great cocktails. Asked for water and got a bottle of Welsh still water for 70 hkd, hence deducts 2 stars
Too hot to sit outside. Band boring. Very little atmosphere. Plus side cocktails were very good but also expensive and a lot of competition in the market. Needs to improve in atmosphere. Staff were good BTW. Its the vibe that is lacking
A new place to have drink and relax in a bar with an old Shanghai theme. We were arrange to be seated right next to the bar behind a curtain. Which were great to have more privacy to chat with friend. Live jazz band starts after 8:30pm.
Live band is great. Outdoor area is not smoking free. Cocktail is good.
Nice ambience and well appointed. Don’t have the IPA, which is clearly a home brew and does not taste good! Non alcoholic drinks are served with a huge ice cube that essentially means the quantity is half of what it looks.

An awesome jazz bar with a variety of drinks (some very premium) & heartful decor, that’s also overlooking the Victoria harbor view. The jazz singer was a dandy. Wife & I had a good time here.
Decent jazz bar. The live band, cocktails, service and decorations were sophisticated. HK needs more bars like this.
Love their outdoor seating, can enjoy the night view with light breeze. Tried one of the cocktails, honey gin, loved it! It is now my favorite spot in Kowloon to have a happy Friday 🙂

Rosewood is now the trendiest and the most stylish hotel in HK.
Being not able to afford the room rent, I can still come to enjoy the drinks at their bar.
Love the moving timer on the ceiling, putting me to sleep merely looking at them.
Very good service and friendly staff.
Most importantly their drinks are sooooo yum, I had No Rules and my friend had a whisky sour.
Highly recommend as they also have an outdoor space to see the harbour!
Happy hour, good cocktails, live music, seating is a way too cosy for my liking when they are busy.

I am so happy to have a new Jazz Bar in HK! The Rosewood has outdone itself! The bar looks stunning! The drinks are great and the decor is just fantastic. Friendly service and a good vibe! Definitely worth the trip to the dark side!

Relatively small but cool indoor and outdoor bar. Comfortable seating, dark wood, unusual ceiling mounted moving artpiece. Good cocktails, wine, beer and snacks. Live music in the evenings (typically jazz-ish covers of the likes of Adele and Joplin).
The decor is really nice. It’s quite spacious by Hong Kong standard. Drinks were really great too! I won’t normally come here since it’s a bit out of the way (it is conveniently located, it’s just those who stay on Hong Kong Island side don’t go to the Kowloon side). But really glad that I did. The service is top notch. Yes it is a little pricey, but I will happily pay it for the experience.

DarkSide provides customers with cozy atmosphere, energetic live band and wonderful services.
The taste of the drinks is up to standard but not superb. To be frank, it’s a bit overpriced for around $170 per glass.
The food is surprisingly GOOD in comparison.
I would recommend Darkside for couples or small group gathering as it’s not that spacious overall.

Went there for few quick drinks. Staffs are well mannered and super helpful and attention to details. The cocktail is pretty good and nice view. Really recommended.
