耀眼的新大光燈！

兒時夜晚搭小巴經過紅磡漆咸道我成日見到大光燈，但原來我從來沒去幫襯過！某天路過尖沙咀新大光燈吃了一碗超迷人的薑蔥豬膶米，美味得這天要帶車爸爸去再次品嚐。

店內座位不多我們過了Lunch Time去比較易找位，店內冷氣不足夏天真有點辛苦，像近幾天的清涼氣溫就會吃得舒適些。

車爸爸欽點的炸鯪魚球＄34/4粒、＄50/6粒我們選了4粒來分享。

新鮮滾熱辣炸起大大粒的鯪魚球吃下外面香脆內裡彈性十足，有濃香的鯪魚味道而且一點腥味也沒有很好吃。

隨鯪魚球附上一碟極為重口味的蜆蚧醬，喜歡再惹味些的朋友可沾來享用，但我覺得淨吃已經非常夠味了。

郊外油菜我們選了吃芥蘭＄22，用鹼水灼過的菜零舍淋甜，所以去麵店我必吃郊外油菜。

車爸爸愛吃乳豬那點碗南乳豬手河＄38吃吧！兩大件乳豬炆得挺入味，可惜骨大肉少吃得不夠過癮，河粉很滑溜最吸引的地方是不會太索湯而變淋很讚。

而我當然要吃勁好味的薑蔥豬膶米＄40，一碗有四件厚切的豬膶吃下綿綿軟軟潤滑無比味道甘香，加上清鮮的湯頭及爽身米粉真的教我百吃不厭。

寫時看著這豬膶米又心思思想吃了！天氣凍了那麼多吃豬膶是好時候了。

Pork liver congee ??, Wonton noodles??, Fried chinese dough wrapped with rice vermecelli was marvellous???! The sesame and sweet sauce were on the table for unlimited supply. Too busy eating and forgotten to take pictures, but personal opinion this is almost the best congee/noodles shop in town. Cheap and cheerful too! …

原身澳門品牌,到香港開店,粥麵質數勝過好多粥麵店,性價比普通！3,40蚊囉,豬手炆得夠淋,雲吞麵,豉油王撈麵,麵質絕對一流,艇仔粥粥底好味,用料夠多,絕對可以一食再食！

炸兩最好食

和在紅磡的新大光燈沒有分別，下次食雲吞麵、豬什麵或粥又多個選擇。

Love the soup noodles here and been here many times. Delicious wonton or beef brisket egg noodles in tasty soup broth. Prices are very reasonable especially for the area with a lot of traffic and close to the harbour and hotels. If you are a big eater, add $6 HKD for extra noodles! I paid $59 HKD for wonton noodles + extra noodles + vegetables

My visit to the New Big Light on Mody Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui, was nothing short of a gastronomic delight. This charming restaurant serves up authentic Hong Kong cuisine that stands out even in a food paradise like Tsim Sha Tsui.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting ambiance that perfectly complements the mouth-watering aroma wafting from the kitchen. The decor is tasteful and comforting, capturing the vibrant spirit of Hong Kong without feeling kitschy.

The menu is a well-curated selection of local favorites, and it is clear that the chef respects tradition while also being unafraid to put a modern twist on classic dishes. The roast duck was another standout, perfectly cooked with a balance of crispiness and tenderness, and the accompanying plum sauce added a perfect tangy sweetness.

The service, just like the food, was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. They were more than happy to make recommendations and explain the dishes.

But perhaps the highlight of the New Big Light experience was the value. With generous portions, high-quality ingredients, and expert preparation, the pricing felt more than fair.

In the buzzing neighborhood of Tsim Sha Tsui, New Big Light is a standout gem. It offers an authentic, delicious Hong Kong dining experience that leaves a lasting impression. I highly recommend it for locals and tourists alike seeking to experience the flavors of Hong Kong. Five stars well deserved!
